#121: High Risk, Higher Stakes- Negotiating during International Crisis with Calvin Chrustie

 Calvin Chrustie spent over three decades working at resolving wicked problems in high risk environments. He spent several decades in international law enforcement in the area of complex international investigations, international hostage negotiations, intelligence, conflict management, and other high risk operations, always focused on managing the 'human element' within operations.  His career began in law enforcement, rising to the spot of Senior Director Of Operations in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and then as a United Nations - Peacekeeping - Negotiator and Mediator.  One of his current jobs is on the Critical Risk Team (CRT) - a risk, security, and crisis consulting firm. He is a senior partner in CRT. This team consists of the highest level of security and risk professionals managing situations involving kidnap incident management, cyber response, transnational organized crime threats, asymmetrical and hybrid threats, intelligence, and security advisory services. Calvin's three decades of experience working in high risk environments includes maintaining an extensive network of risk management partners in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America.
