Ali is back from his trip away with a walking, talking solo Friday episode, talking about the Emmys, the Beastie Boys, the "classics" and this week's biggest release 'Enola Holmes'. And fret not, Ace will be back next week, don't you worry...

Chances are, you know full well who Millie Bobby Brown is: the staggeringly gifted 16-year-old star of Stranger Things and now her own new Netflix movie, Enola Holmes, where she plays the sister of the famous Baker Street consulting detective (here played by Henry Cavill). Talking to Ali for an iPlayer 'Story So Far' interview, here's the slightly longer audio version where they talk about all sorts: performing martial arts in a corset, perfecting a posh English accent and what mementos Millie's taken home over her career so far.

Ali is off on holiday this week but that's not going to stop him from podcasting, no sir, no way, no how. Nolan North is the star of the new Marvel's Avengers game, where he plays - checks notes - a character called 'Iron Man'. Never heard of him either. Talking to Ali about what goes into the performance capture of cutscenes in modern triple-A games like Avengers and much, much more besides, the artist sometimes known as Nathan Drake is funny, informative and pretty good at telling stories. From a much-loved actor? Who saw that coming?

So many news stories, so little time! Ali and Ace try to dance through the biggest movie revelations that have dropped in the past week - from Mission: Impossible to the new Dune trailer and back again - before capping things off with a review of the new live-action Mulan. Expect a lot of extreme geekery. In a good way.

The New Mutants is finally in cinemas! And to celebrate, here's our Ali talking to the impressive cast - namely Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga - as well as writer-director Josh Boone about how they put together their X-Men haunted house (ish) horror thriller. Note to self: do not hand Maisie Williams a tambourine any time soon. Now we know.

The New Mutants finally hits cinemas this week and Ace and Ali are here to let you know what to expect. Plus, Mulan lands on Disney Plus - for an extra fee, mind - and The Boys Season 2 has finally arrived. Well, the first three episodes have, at any rate. In the news section, our pal James Bond makes an appearance, as does John Boyega and the cast of Dune, but ultimately the biggest story is of course the sad passing of Black Panther himself, Chadwick Boseman, with Ace and Ali doing their best to come to terms with the shocking news.

Tenet is finally here, and in cinemas. Christoper Nolan's latest is a big budget time-recalibrating spy-ish sci-fi thriller that's almost impossible to talk about. Almost. Nimbly dancing around spoilers the best they can, here are the cast of Tenet - John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson and Sir Kenneth Branagh - as well as Nolan himself.

The Batman, The Suicide Squad, Justice League... a whole host of DC movie news landed over the weekend just gone so it's up to Ali and Ace step up to the plate to make sense of it all. Plus! Ali does his level best to review Christopher Nolan's Tenet without dropping any spoilers. It's quite the task and no mistake.
