EP3: Lucid Dreaming Intro: A Waking Life Hack

What REALLY happens at the edge of consciousness? Dreaming is more than just a byproduct of sleep. Once you learn the basics of lucid dreaming, you can solve problems on demand and on a whole new level, not being limited by your logical conscious brain. In this episode we talk about techniques for lucid dreaming, beginner tips, and a bit about the science behind dreaming.  “Lucid dreaming has considerable potential for promoting personal growth and self-development, enhancing self-confidence, improving mental and physical health, facilitating creative problem solving and helping you to progress on the path to self-mastery. If you want to learn to paint, summon Rembrandt. Go fishing with Hemingway or Hesse and talk about that novel you’ve always wanted to write”.   LaBerge, “ Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming” 1990 “The process of creation is accompanied by the capacity to communicate with the most primitive layers of the unconscious. When this capacity to communicate includes the ability to ask the unconscious — in the form of the dreaming mind — for artistic inspiration, then the lucid dreaming artist may have a certain advantage over the non-lucid dreaming artist”.  Chasseguet-Smirgel, J. (1995) ‘“Creative Writers and Day-dreaming”While dreaming, there are no physical limitations to what can be created or done. The dreamer can do the “impossible”, enhance their skills, seek new ideas for stories or creations and even summon legends or mentors. The Dream World podcast was selected by Feedspot as one of the Top 15 Lucid Dream Podcasts on the web. EP2: Lucid Dreaming vs Astral Projection

In this episode we talk to Demi, a weekly lucid dreamer! We discuss lucid dream experiences, as well as astral projection and some of the differences. Lucid dreaming = becoming conscious while already in the dreaming body. Astral projection = being aware of the entire transition of consciousness from the physical body to the dreaming body. Or put in another way: falling asleep consciously. In the end, there is really no battle. They are very similar in their end result, but they take different routes to get there. Demi also introduces us to a "Pathworking" technique for lucid dreaming, in which you meditate right as you're falling asleep, and visualize a path taking you to your desired dreamscape. Send us a textSupport the showFollow The Dream World PodcastVisit Our WebsiteInstagram @TheDreamWorldPodcastTik Tok @aminasdreamworldSpotifyFacebookLucid Dreaming Online Course
