Zum Ende des sehr bemerkenswerten Jahres 2020 haben sich Thomas und Christoph nochmal zusammengesetzt, um das eigene Podcast-Jahr Revue passieren zu lassen und auch ein paar Empfehlungen zu geben. Es war in vieler Hinsicht nicht das beste Jahr, an das sich viele von uns noch lange erinnern werden. Was das Thema digitales Lernen angeht, war 2020 allerdings auch in häufig ein ganz besonderes Jahr – und das oft im positiven Sinn! Claas Triebel ist Gründer, Berater, Autor, Musiker, Podcaster und war sogar einmal Professor. Ihm geht es immer um Messung und Entwicklung von Kompetenzen. Thomas unterhält sich im Podcast mit Claas genau zu den Themen, incl. der von Claas entwickelten Kompetenzbilanz, die beim Karrierecoaching helfen kann.Das hat Claas sogar eine Auszeichnung der Stiftung Warentest verschafft. Hilfreich ist auch das SKATE Modell von Claas, das bei der Strukturierung von Kompetenzen hilft. Claas gibt zudem Tips für EdTech Startups – aber auch für Menschen in Firmen EdTech einzusetzen – was ja inzwischen doch ein sehr diverses Feld ist. Lars Satow, aus dem Learning Experience and Certification Team bei SAP, spricht mit Thomas Jenewein und Christoph Haffner darüber, wie Online Learning Communities die digitale Kompetenzentwicklung unterstützen. Digitales Lernen ist mehr als Videos anschauen und e-Learnings durcharbeiten. Digitales Lernen ist sozial, interaktiv und mobil. Darüber sprechen wir in dieser Ausgabe des Education NewsCast im November 2020, der noch immer stark von den Einschränkungen durch COVID19 geprägt ist, auch und insbesondere im Bereich des Lernens. Lars hat zum Thema auch eine Studie veröffentlicht, bei der 83 Online Learning Communities auf SAP Learning Hub untersucht wurden. Die Ergebnisse zeigen unter anderem, dass mehr als 70% der Befragten ihre Kompetenzziele mit Hilfe der Online Learning Communities tatsächlich erreichten. vCOACH ist ein EdTech Startup das 2020 den HR Innovation Award gewonnen hat in der Kategorie Learning & Training. Christoph und Thomas unterhalten sich mit zwei der vier Gründer: Stephanie Mayer und Tobias Hölzer. Ihr Produkt ist eine interaktive Coaching App die beispielsweise Aufgaben für Präsentationen vorgibt, die die Teilnehmer dann halten und sich dabei selbst per Video aufnehmen. Karina Edmonds is SAP’s new head of Academies and University Alliances and in this Podcast she talks about her professional journey, her passion for technology and technology transfer. Christoph Haffner and Thomas Jenewein virtually met Karina for this new Podcast episode. Prior to her new role at SAP, Karina worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in the field of technology transfer, under the Obama administration, she joined the U.S. Department of Energy and for Google, she started the university relations.In her new role at SAP, Karina aims to strengthen SAP’s brand in the academic fields of engineering and computer science and to amplify it to engage and develop top talent and future leaders who are lifelong learners. She sees herself as an advocate for promotion of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers, especially for underrepresented students and women. In the podcast, Chris Dwyer who heads Learning Advisory at SAP, shares the role of learning experience and tips on how to improve it.
