London Dre was born out of a desire to be more inclusive and welcome in all types of people. Drawing inspiration from his Memphis roots while still highlighting a background in the military, London Dre has layers of depth like is true of humankind. First Album Hits NY Times and the Mind Games Begin ft. WARA #021
In this episode of the One More Time Podcast, Wara talks about his first album hitting the NY Times, his relationship with Grip, shortening his artist name, deciding to take down some of his music over the years, and more!Wara is a perfect representation of both his NYC and ATL upbringings. Inspired by the golden era of NYC hip-hop, he merges that culture with ATL influences that results in a very unique sound. What started out as an attempt to sell exclusive sneakers quickly turned into a blog called Deeper than Dope. After that, Wara discovered his passion for recording and headed down the artistry path. He saw success with his first release but then went through a period of time where he felt pressured to release without the right strategy in place. That conviction is felt strongly when he hits the stage. After opening up for Ludacris, Prohaize went on to curate his own events leveraging the power of community.
