Whereas he doesn't claim to be the poster child for disabilities, he has become more involved with the community. Looking for a high school artist to perform at a high school concert, he stumbled upon YBN Nahmir and would assume managerial responsibilities for the first time. Things went sideways, but that didn't stop Fabo from landing right back on his feet. Since then, he has discovered, managed and A&R'd artists like Big Yavo, Nuski, Yungeen Ace, Luh Soldier and others at Cinematic. His mom's diplomatic career took him from Nigeria to South America and ultimately to the A. After sweeping hair at a barbershop and working as a bank teller, he started writing songs with the late Fabio Legarda under the name "The Twins". Soaking up game over the years, he took the leap of faith and became an artist. Since then, he has worked with artists like Mr. Pig, Phay, Zarion Uti, and more. Although he has only released singles, we were promised a project would be released first part of 2022. Kelechi is a first-generation American artist born to Nigerian parents.  Starting out as a Christian rapper named Submit, he rebranded to his government name Kelechi after realizing his music was becoming increasingly autobiographical. He won $50,000 and support for his album "Before the Quarter" by winning a contest sponsored by Mountain Dew. With features from BJ the Chicago Kid, Trinidad James, K Camp and Phay, almost every single release was getting playlisted. He built a successful music business from there with recording / mix engineering added to a resume of well received records and tour support for artists like Wale, Chance the Rapper and Jidenna. After 10 years of pure rap, Kelechi has embraced a new sound leaning into the Afrobeats / Afropop genres and is feeling almost like a brand new artist.
