Be a better leader. Work hard and work smart.

Having gone through several bumps and turns in navigating the industry in a stressful way of dealing with the process, distance, contractors, tenants, partners, and debt, she gathered herself back, learned, focused, and took the path of wholesaling. Gradually scaling up to various facets of the industry like referral incentives, private money lending tutorials, and credit repair assistance to homeowners, she freed herself from her debt and now makes to as much as $100,000 a month.

For starters, do not aggressively perform a complete gut job, especially if unfamiliar with the contractor’s credibility. Start small and safe.
If remotely dealing with a contractor, delegate an impartial person who would oversee the project.
Make sure to obtain the proper data and a system in place to maximize that data.
Profit first. Consider paying yourself first for higher profitability.
Don’t be hesitant to deliver the deal. Know the concerns and provide the appropriate winnable solutions for both parties concerned.
Focus and be aligned on the goal. Set expectations and don’t go for the shiny object of scaling abruptly.
Invest in educating yourself rather than figuring out everything through experience.

To be successful financially, work for yourself and not for somebody else.

Relying on relationships and connections opens the door to opportunities. Surround yourself with people that are smarter and better than you. Understand that you can’t do everything on your own.
Employing appropriate and smart words helps initiate buyers to reveal their numbers before an offer.
Mistakes always happen, don’t give up, learn from it, move on, and avoid doing the same. In learning, be a sponge and absorb as much useful information as possible.
You don’t need to spend so much money on business if you started going through the right systems. Also, if you don’t have a high marketing budget, you can utilize social media for free.
Having a license can increase profitability and future-proofs the business.
The most important piece is making sure the person you’re taking the information from is someone you look up to and respect. Knowing that not everybody’s going to have your best interest, but everybody in the world will have at least some piece of value that they can give to you.
