Highlight: Bill Goldsmith On Losing Control Of His Ego After Reality TV // Video.

This highlight from my episode with Bill Goldsmith dives into the tumultuous years that followed his reality TV appearances on the 'The Bachelorette' & 'Bachelor In Paradise'. If you enjoyed this snippet, head back to my page to discover the full episode. -- Bill Goldsmith emerged from the Australian franchise of The Bachelorette with Ali Oetjen as season 4's villain. I admitted to Bill, that as a viewer of the show that year, that I didn't like him at all. In the years following the Bachelorette & his time on Bachelor In Paradise, Bill didn't like the man starring back at him in the mirror, in fact, he hated who he was. That is why, he changed & evolved, going back to a life he knew well before TV fame & stardom. A simpler life, congruent with the values he developed as a young man.   Bill speaks of his childhood with a smile. Growing up in Victoria's Dandenong Ranges, as he describes: 'with a feminist hippie mother & no TV'.  A childhood surrounded by nature & real life interaction. A world so far from the attention & social validation that comes with reality TV & social media, it's fair to say that Bill was stepping into the unknown when he signed up for the Bachelorette adventure.  We spoke about him losing control of his ego in the years that followed the show, re-connecting with his values & finding real meaning in the life he now leads. We dive into the effects of social media on society, modern culture's dopamine addiction & what really happens behind the scenes of a reality TV show.  I love that Bill can own his mistakes & has chosen to grow in the wake of those realisations. We spent the morning running, sitting down for a coffee & recording this conversation & after it all I can honestly say the man I met was far from the villain I disliked on TV all those years ago, he is a good man with honest intentions.  Be sure to follow Bill & I on socials (Insta) @bill.michael.goldsmith (Insta, TikTok, LinkedIn) @bradleyjdryburgh Follow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world.  Big love, Brad xx Hosted on Acast. Highlight: 3 Mates Share Their Near Death Experiences // Video.

In this highlight moment from ‘3 mates read their eulogies’. the boys discuss the science behind the ‘life reviews’ that we have in moments of a near death experience. A compelling conversation sure to encourage personal reflection. In the name of vulnerability, Brad (The Captain) has come together with 2 of his best mates Tye (Phoony) & Joey (the zoolander) for a series of episodes to tackle some of life’s big questions, topics & the tough stuff that we so often choose to battle in solitude. The aim is to inspire you to connect with your mates in vulnerability & hold space for each other on the foundation of unconditional love & support, whilst encouraging positive mental health. The boys feel so blessed to have the incredible friendship they do & it’s no coincidence that our depth of conversation has created such strength in our bond. This week they wrote their own eulogies & discussed the topic of death. It got incredibly emotional, honest & it was liberating. In the acceptance of our inevitable deaths (hopefully to come in the distant future) we are often reminded of what we truly want to live for in the now. Todays episode was a celebration of that.Be sure to follow the boys on socials @bradleyjdryburgh @joeplumb_ @phoony103Follow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world.Big love xx Hosted on Acast.
