Highlight: Zac O'neill On: His Dream To Climb Mt Everest Without Oxygen.
This highlight from my episode with ultra runner Zac O'neil discusses his dream to climb Mt Everest un-supported & without oxygen. A feat so difficult that more people have been to space. A dream now fuelled by his passion for ultra running & mountaineering. Checkout the full episode with Zac on this platform if you enjoy the highlight!--Zac O'neil is an ultra runner & mountaineering enthusiast. His passion for running first fuelled by a more vein pursuit to 'look good' in the wake of a break up. Zac describes feeling insecure about his body image for a large portion of his life. That deep seeded insecurity now weighing a little lighter on the mind as so many look to Zac as an inspiration for not what his body looks like, but rather what it is capable of. In the lead up to Zac's recent 240km ultra from the sandy shoreline of Eden in the South Coast to the top of Australia's largest peak, Mt Kosciuszko, he had to conquer both a 100km race in Alice Springs & a 160km race in the Central Coast to qualify for Australia's highly regraded 'Coast To Kosci'.As they say, 'Rome wasn't built in a day', neither was Zac's feat in conquering the 240km race. It is the product of the past 5 years, building a body & mind resilient enough to tackle huge challenges. We discussed what the last 5 years have taught him about life & himself, in a very inspiring yet down to earth conversation. It was an honour to have a man that I consider a mate, share a conversation on the poddy & celebrate the accolades he has worked incredible hard to achieve.Be sure to follow Zac & I on socials (Insta) @zac_oneil (YouTube) Zac O'neil Ultra (Insta, TikTok, LinkedIn) @bradleyjdryburghFollow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world.Big love,Brad xx Hosted on Acast. Highlight: Lachie Stuart: The 'Yes-Man' Mentality Responsible For Societies Mental Health Crisis.
This highlight from my episode with high performance coach Lachie Stuart reveals the secret to taking charge of your time & crafting a path for genuine happiness, meaning & success in your life. If you enjoy this segment, I highly suggest listening to the full episode as well! — Lachlan Stuart is a men’s high performance coach. Working with 7+ figure clients to achieve business & life success through the structures of his business ‘the man that can project’. Though Lachie wasn’t always a leader. The former rugby player was once lost & in his own words spiralling out of control. His Achilles heel was the deep seated desire to fit in & it was fuelled by illicit substances, alcohol & violence. It’s fair to say that Lachie’s new found path of leadership was inspired by a former teammate who recognised a young man with potential & decided to lead Lachie towards a more prosperous path of self development & success. In this episode we discussed the reason so many humans are unhappy & lacking vision within their life. Breaking down the construct of time to arm you with the tools to control it & create a path of success in your own life. I have learnt so much from my time with Lachie & I know so many of you will take real wisdom from what he has to say! Highlight - Josh Kerr: Seeking Validation & Acceptance In Others Made Him Feel Like A Coward.
This piece of conversation was a highlight from my full episode with Josh Kerr. His desire to feel validated & accepted amongst his high school peers led to him feeling like an outcast from his indigenous culture. We spoke about fitting in vs belonging, why true belonging is found in self acceptance & the indigenous mentors who helped him create a stronger connection with his culture. If you loved this highlight, you can listen to the full episode on your platform of choice. See the show notes below.Josh Kerr is one of the St George Illawarra Dragons forwards & an indigenous All-Stars representative. When meeting Joshy, you are confronted by the mighty man-mountain's sheer size but after getting to know the man, it is no surprise that his larger than life personality & his compassionate heart are what he is known for amongst his family & friends.Josh grew up an hour North-West of Brisbane in Narrangba. Sport was a huge part of his early identity & it is where his passions for rugby league & aussie rules were formed. With opportunities to pursue both sports, Josh eventually decided to walk the rugby league path, not without his fair share of hurdles along the way. Alongside the desire to make his family proud, his driving force was the determination to prove an early doubter wrong & prove he could be part of the 1-2% of players who make their NRL dream a reality.A proud Aboriginal man from the Quandamooka Nation in Stradbroke Island, Joshy had his early struggles with culture. The criticism & racist jokes in the school yard created a drift with his culture, choosing to 'fit in' before realising that true belonging is found in celebration of our culture & self acceptance. Now loud & proud about his passion & pride to be an Aboriginal man, one of his great honours was to represent the Indigenous All-Stars.Josh has an incredible heart & a desire to leave those he encounters feeling uplifted, it's the reason I connected so easily with him when we first met. His story is inspiring & it was my honour to share it on the show.Be sure to follow Josh & I on socials (Insta) @joshmkerr (Insta, TikTok, LinkedIn) @bradleyjdryburghFollow/Subscribe to the show on your platform of choice, leave a 5 star rating & kind review to help us reach new listeners & uplift others like yourself around the world.Big love,Brad xx Hosted on Acast. Dylan Mullan: 5 Questions, 5 Answers.
5 questions & 5 answers forms the conclusion of each podcast I host. Right here, you are seeing it as a preview to the full episode featured on my channel. If you enjoy this, then you need to tune into the full version to hear the story of my guest's personal journey. Dylan Mullan has an incredible story. He grew up in Sydney's South-West in a household full of love & support, in which he credits for the foundation of his unwavering self belief. It's that belief & internal drive that sent him down the path of a degree in law before he backflipped into acting & now entrepreneurship. When you look at the absurd list of different careers that Dylan has dabbled in, it's hard to draw parallels that make sense of his success, but when you hear him share his life story, it makes perfect sense. His now $40 million business 'Happy Skin Co' was founded alongside his best mate George & is the result of manifested success backed by work ethic & action. It is the formula that found Dylan sharing a wine & conversation with business mentor & social media sensation Gary Vee inside his New York City office & continues to lead Dyl on the road of a life-less-ordinary. Not only is this episode of the poddy an inspiring success story, but a reminder that you can still be kind & empathetic whilst making it big in the business world. I loved connecting with Dylan Mullan for this poddy & was blessed to share my story on his show 'Life Money & Love' as well. Blake Lawrie & Zac Lomax: 5 Questions, 5 Answers.
5 questions & 5 answers forms the conclusion of each podcast I host. Right here, you are seeing it as a preview to the full episode featured on my channel. If you enjoy this, then you need to tune into the full version to hear the story of my guest's personal journey. Blake Lawrie is one of the NRL’s best up & coming hard men. The St George Illawarra dragons front rower come from humble beginnings in the Illawarra region. His rise to the top division isn’t a story of luck & good fortune, it’s a product of hard work & adversity overcome on numerous occasions. Like many successful human beings, there’s a story below the surface that makes the man affectionately known as ‘Blocka’ the man he is on & off the field. At the age of 11 Blake lost his mum to breast cancer before he & his younger siblings moved their lives into their grandparents home. It’s undoubtedly what makes Lawrie the devoted family man he is & the footballer that his team mates have so passionately spoken about ‘wanting to be beside in the trenches’. It was an honour to hear Blake’s story, his ambitions for the years to come & share banter with my co-host & our great mate Zac Lomax.
