Professional Hockey Player to Real Estate Investing Power House with Kyle Wilson

Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! This is your host AJ Osborne! I tell you what, I have some pretty awesome friends. Not only that, it's incredible that I get to share these amazing people and their stories with you all. Today is no exception. My great friend Kyle Wilson joins me on the podcast today and provides some of the best discussion I think I’ve ever had on this podcast about underwriting and working with capital partners. Kyle first got a taste of real estate investing like so many other investors - through house hacking. Being a professional hockey player, Kyle knew he needed to get plans for the future figured out. Fast forward to today and Kyle and his wife have built a real estate empire and systems to find, analyse, and manage the successful real estate business they’ve built. This is an amazing episode packed with tons of valuable insight that I know you’re going to really enjoy. That said I’ll let you all get to it! The Truth About RISK | The Keys to Risk Management

Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! I’m your host AJ Osborne! Today we’re talking about RISK. I’ve found that the various types of real and perceived risks are vastly unknown, and vastly misunderstood. Obviously this can be a huge problem for us whether we’re entrepreneurs, employees, investors… no matter what we are. The fact is - risk cannot ever be totally eliminated. We can only control so much. So then, how do we effectively manage risk? These are great questions and ideas, and this is exactly what we’re diving into on today’s podcast. I break risk down into three pillars and we expand from there. The keys here - we should understand risk and know not only how to face it, but how to deal with and manage risk productively. We’ll never get away from risk completely and have to learn how to thrive in the uncertainty. Thanks for listening everybody! The Anti-Financial Advisor Chris Miles | The Truth About Investing and Building Wealth

Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! I’m your host AJ Osborne! I’ve got an amazing guest lined up for you guys today who is going to help shed some light of TRUTH on the financial and investing world. I’m excited to introduce Chris Miles. Chris started his career in financial advising from day one, but quickly realized that there were some major issues in the world of financial advising. Even going so far as to call the financial advising industry “broken”. Something he said during this podcast really sends this whole issue home. In relation to financial advisors in general - he says, “...are they making good money because they make good investments, or are they making money because they’re good salesmen?”. Recognizing these issues, he chose to become the ANTI - financial advisor. A term he’s coined to help bring reality into financial advising. We’re going to unpack some of these industry wide problems and help uncover some pitfalls that you can hopefully avoid. Apart from that, we’re going to talk about the keys that will help you work because you want to, not because you have to. We’re also going to dive into stock investing and shed some truth there as well. Hopefully this helps spread some light on the issues and can help put you guys on the right track so you don’t waste your time or money in what could very well be just another sales pitch. Thanks for listening everybody! AJ Keep up with Chris on his website or listen to his podcast! The Truth About Debt - How Debt Can Make or Break You

Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! I’m your host AJ Osborne!    Debt - there are very few subjects that have gotten as bad a wrap as debt has. Don’t get me wrong, debt when you don’t understand it… can be downright deadly. But debt used as a rocket fuel for generating wealth and income… that’s when debt becomes a massive force of leverage.    But how? How can taking on debt ever be a good thing? Isn’t buying all cash a better way to go? Isn’t paying off a loan as quickly as possible the best course of action? Yes and no, just like the above gives hint to - it depends on what kind of debt we’re talking about.    Let’s clear this up once and for all - not all debt is BAD and not all debt is created equal. We have two kinds of debt - consumer debt (which is generally bad and that you should try to avoid). And then we have revenue producing debt (which is the sweet nectar of the gods for investors).    This is just the tip of the iceberg and I couldn’t be more excited to help shed some light on this subject because I see it and hear it every single day. I hope this helps you more fully understand the different types of debt, when you should and SHOULDN’T be afraid of debt, and when you can use it effectively to help grow your wealth.    Outside of that, I give a bit of economic back story in regard to capital,  the different types of markets, economic cycles, and more to really take a deep dive on the subject.    Enjoy everybody and we’ll catch you next time!  AJ Become a part of the CRE Circle: https://ajosborne.com/cre-circle/
