Episode 072: Aaron Blaine
A quote from Terry Real: "To be a great marani (warrior), when the moment calls for fierceness, nobody fucks with you. And when the moment calls for tenderness, you are not tender. You are very, very tender. And a great marani knows which is which." This podcast is a response to the recent Gillette ad that has caused a very strong backlash and stirred immense cultural conversation about what it means to be a man, the moral role of brands, and clearly pointed to a seemingly fundamental societal division. Our perspective at Evryman is that the black and white approach to this topic is too easy and that there is a straightforward but challenging middle road. Instead of prescribing that men are either aggressive and dominant or soft and compassionate, we believe the honest reality is that both and all are true and necessary. There are times that life calls forth different skillsets and virtues, and we believe we should all have access to the whole spectrum of possibility as a man.

Find Evryman at: Website | Facebook | Instagram | Twitter "That's the entire point of Evryman, you don't gotta be just one thing." - Dan Doty This episode takes place out in the hills in Central California after a deer hunting trip.
