Ep045 - The Power of Resilience - powered by icare's paralympian speakers
2020 demonstrated the importance of resilience and how it impacts our day-to-day lives. Well Workplaces is excited to partner with icare NSW to bring you a live workplace health and safety panel discussion.
Three Paralympians will join Tom Bosna and share their stories of how they have overcome adversity to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Joany Badenhorst, Grant Mizens OAM and John Marshall detail their life-changing workplace accident, journey of recovery and return to work, and their road to becoming a Paralympian. They open up about the challenges of living with disability and re-entering the workforce and also discuss how organisations can best support those returning to work after an injury and ways to create an inclusive culture.
With a passionate panel of speakers, this event will empower you and your teams to build resiliency. Our panellists demonstrate that with the support of others, an injury can be a new beginning; a person can recover and go on to contribute to a workplace and the community or, like in their own life stories, become a top-performing athlete.
All three panellists are part of icare NSW's Paralympian Speakers Program, which provides icare customers with access to Paralympians who have been affected by workplace injury to talk to their team free of charge.

What about the other vibes that exist in the human experience?
