He began at his family's store by sweeping the floors, then worked in shipping and receiving, became a parts manager, and eventually a general manager. Justin's passion for powersports also led him to work with the Factory KTM racing team and travel the world. As a seasoned veteran of DMS and dealership operations, we discuss the Dealer Management System (DMS) and its functions in the Sales, Parts, and Service departments. As a project manager, he is accountable for ensuring that dealers use the tool to make their lives more effective and profitable. We discuss various topics revolving around the CRM, such as best ways to use it, what steps dealers can use to maximize efforts and future advancements on the horizon. The Customer Relationship Management tool should be the nucleus of the sales process for any dealership and if used properly, can make a huge difference in efficiency and make more sales. We know how an agency or great media buyer can use Google ads to help dealers: Increase Visibility, Get More customers to see your products and services. We Target locally in direct marketing areas and we Know Your Audience's interest and patterns. Conversion Tracking By default, Google Ads only tracks clicks and impressions. As an operator, you need to have a conversation and ask what is their Definition of a conversion? Is it a Lead or Is It A Click and Page View? Negative Keywords Help To Eliminate Waste. Negative keywords help not show your ads to users that Google thinks might be similar. Mike recalls when he was running campaigns for Ford Dealerships, the song “Tom Ford by Jay-Z” was popular and had to negate that from users wasting ad dollars. He also talks about excluding Times of the Day and Geographic areas from the targeting so it is only confined to a specific area and targets the best customers.
