Megan was diagnosed with a rare respiratory condition, laryngeal papilomatosis, at a young age. This condition causes the growth of small papillomas in the airways and requires regular surgical removal. It currently has no cure. Megan is one of the highest functioning people with this condition. She has NEVER let her condition define her. She is not what has happened to her, but what she has chosen to become.
