Staying Healthy and Fit throughout Graduate School, Advanced Home Training Biohacks, and more, with Jon Snyder, PhD candidate

In this episode of the Brawn Body Podcast (114) Dan is joined by Jonathan Snyder to discuss how he shifted and adapted his fitness routine despite the demands of graduate school and his other life responsibilities. The two also make it a point to discuss other advanced training modalities, such as blood flow restriction/occlusion training, and how this can be applied to home fitness.  Jon graduated from Lebanon Valley College with his degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He’s currently a PhD candidate in pharmacology and physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine. He’s done research on protein structure and function, organic synthesis, and now studies insulin secretion and the interaction between diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In his spare time he practices BJJ, powerlifting, triathlons, and in the pre-COVID world stand-up comedy.
