Sons and Their Mother Wounds

In this podcast episode, Lisa A. Romano delves into the topic of son's and mother wounds. She explains how men have been conditioned to suppress their emotions, especially when it comes to expressing vulnerability or seeking help. This conditioning is often reinforced by toxic messages regarding men and emotions, which can lead to a man struggling with suppressed rage. Romano also discusses how emotionally unavailable mothers can cause a son to crave maternal love in the future. This can lead to a man seeking out relationships with women who remind him of his mother, hoping to finally receive the love and validation he never received as a child. However, this can also lead to a cycle of disappointment and frustration, as the man may never truly find the love and validation he seeks. Throughout the episode, Romano emphasizes the importance of healing these wounds and breaking free from the conditioning that has led to emotional suppression. She encourages men to seek help and support and to work through their emotions in a healthy and productive way. By doing so, men can break free from the cycle of pain and find true healing and fulfillment in their lives. Anxiety and Why You Fear Making Decisions

In this episode, learn about why you fear making a decision and what you can do to reduce anxiety and boost your self-confidence. The human mind is a tool that needs to be understood and explored. Sadly, most humans do not take the time to explore their minds, and falsely assume that whatever thoughts and emotions they are aware of are factual. Emotions should not be confused with facts. A child can assume they are bad, and unworthy as a result of emotional neglect, and parental retaliation. If this child's beliefs remain unchecked, at the level of the subconscious mind and at the neurological level, these beliefs harden into facts the mind accepts as truths. Codependency is the manifestation of such unchecked emotions and beliefs. When one is suffering from codependency, they are stuck in the past, reliving and reenacting their childhood trauma survival strategies. Fawning, people-pleasing, and reliance on others for validation and approval keep codependent adults in the role of the wounded inner child. To break free from anxiety, we must awaken to how the mind works and the many ways in which it was divinely designed to help us avoid pain. By default, the human mind can cut itself off from the emotions one needs to accept, in order to avoid the pain of abandonment. This is self abandonment and this results in anxiety, depression, narcissistic, entangled relationships and a myriad of mental and physical health issues. The power of an organized mind, can set you free from psychological upset, however, to gain this mental clarity, one must possess the tools to embrace what the mind is designed to deny. If you are ready to heal the self, visit https://www.lisaaromano.com/12wbcp to learn how you can gain the tools, and insights to live an awakened, healed and empowered life.

When You Tick a Narcissist Off This Happens

Welcome to today's episode of the podcast, where we explore the fascinating and sometimes frightening world of narcissism. In this episode, we'll be discussing what happens when you tick off a narcissist. Narcissists are known for their self-centeredness and lack of empathy, but what happens when someone challenges their inflated sense of self? The answer is not pretty. First, let's talk about what a narcissist is. Narcissism is a personality disorder characterized by a grandiose sense of self-importance, a need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others. Narcissists believe that they are superior to others and often have a sense of entitlement. They crave attention and will go to great lengths to get it. Now, let's get into what happens when you tick off a narcissist. When you challenge a narcissist's self-image or sense of superiority, they will often react with anger and aggression. This is because their ego is fragile, and any perceived threat to their self-image is seen as a personal attack. One common tactic that narcissists use when they feel threatened is gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse where the narcissist will manipulate the victim into questioning their own reality. They will deny their behavior, twist the truth, and make the victim feel like they are crazy. This is a way for the narcissist to maintain their sense of superiority and control over the victim. Another way that narcissists react when they are challenged is by becoming defensive. They may lash out at the person who challenged them, accusing them of being jealous or envious. This is a way for the narcissist to deflect attention away from themselves and onto the person who challenged them. In extreme cases, narcissists may even become violent. This is because they see any challenge to their self-image as a threat to their very existence. They may become physically aggressive in an attempt to maintain their sense of control and superiority. So, what can you do if you find yourself in a situation where you've ticked off a narcissist? The best course of action is to disengage and remove yourself from the situation. Don't engage with the narcissist or try to reason with them. This will only escalate the situation. It's also important to seek support from friends, family, or a professional therapist. Dealing with a narcissist can be emotionally exhausting and can take a toll on your mental health. Having a support system can help you cope with the situation and protect yourself from further harm.
