189. Zach Rehder: Cultivating Presence Through The Power Of Your Breath

“The breath knows us better than we know ourselves.” On average we breathe around 20,000 times a day, but how many of those breaths are conscious? Breathwork is a practice that can deepen your awareness, cultivate presence, and help you find, release, and move through discomfort in your body. Best of all, this tool is accessible to all of us and it’s completely free. I’ve been exploring the power of the breath more and more over the past few years. Breath is the thread that flows through so many healing modalities and it always blows my mind how something so simple [and natural] can be profoundly potent and powerful. In this episode, I’m interviewing a breathwork practitioner - Zach Rehder - for a deep dive into the myriad of ways that breathwork can elevate your life. “We’re here to awaken up to our greatness, to who and what we really are.” Zach Rehder is an international teacher, speaker and healer. Through a series of awakenings, he became a channel for messages and energies that heal, unlock and awaken human potential. His work enables individuals to dissolve barriers and free themselves from negativity, limitation and lack.Zach travels to facilitate seminars and workshops and regularly hosts teleclasses and online programs. He provides remote and in-person private sessions for clients from around the globe.  Many clients have experienced amazing, inexplicable healings and awakenings through Zach’s programs and sessions. In this episode, Zach and I explore:Why are we so unconscious of our breath? What is the best way to breathe? Why Zach decided to dedicate his life to breathwork. A daily practice that brings more agency to the breath.Learning to be present with the discomfort. The links between meditation and breathwork. What does truth feel like? Leading from presence, not thought. And more…Breath is a powerful way to connect with the present moment and feel more deeply into your body and your being. This beautiful conversation is a gateway into a breathwork practice - and a tool that can serve you in any moment of your life.  “Instead of trying to rearrange our life so that we don’t have to feel the discomfort, let’s feel it. This is where the magic is.” Contact Info:www.zachrehder.comhttps://www.facebook.com/zrehder/https://www.instagram.com/zachrehder/Summary/ Call to Action: We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. 187. Raj Jana: The Ripple Effect Of Your Personal Healing Journey

“When your power is attached to feelings you can create inside of you, there’s absolutely nothing that keeps you caged.” As I bring you my June reflection, we’re now officially halfway through 2021. This episode is especially powerful for me because I’m noticing how my reflection process is deepening and evolving as I dig in more. As a result, my personal growth is accelerating, and my insights are helping me to step into new possibilities for myself and my life. My reflection process is one of my favorite personal development tools. It’s a catalyst for spiritual growth, it deepens my connection with myself, and it’s taking me to new levels of self-awareness and personal responsibility. I hope that by sharing the way I navigate my reflection [as well as some core takeaways from June], you can extract some ideas to expand your personal practice. “When you feel like you’re on top of the world - when things are just great - that’s when your body finally feels safe enough to open up the doors underneath.” I’m grateful and excited to share this month’s reflection because I feel like I’m getting to a place where I’m working on the thing beneath the thing! 186. Joseph Billotti: Lessons From A Long Life

“The things I’m most grateful for in this moment are actually the lessons and the experiences I had when things were hardest.” One of the things I love most about Stay Grounded is the opportunity it provides to meet people from all walks of life. Over the years, I’ve interviewed some fascinating people, and this episode is no different… Apart from the way that Joseph Billotti and I met. I’ve recently been spending time on the phone connecting with JavaPresse Coffee Club OGs. These are people who’ve been drinking JavaPresse coffee for years and I wanted to know what they love about the brand. 89-year-old Joseph was one of the people I interviewed. “One of the most beautiful parts about life is that there’s so many different ways to do it, and there’s so many adventures to choose and so many different journeys to go on.” What was supposed to be a 15-minute chat about coffee morphed into a deep conversation about life, love, spirituality, service, and more. Joseph has lived a full and colorful life. He’s travelled over the world as a missionary, fought cancer, and cultivated a deep connection with God. His perspective on life inspired me so much that I invited him onto the show. He’s one of Stay Grounded’s oldest guests and I’m so excited for you to hear Joseph's lessons from a long life.  In this episode, we explore:Joseph’s journey to connecting with himself. Meaningful coffee rituals. How Joseph starts his day with intention. “Everything is a prayer”. How Joseph inspires faith in life. The roles of forgiveness and gratitude. Joseph's spiritual beliefs, finding God, and understanding the soul. Lessons for beautiful friendships. Joseph’s core message about life after 89 years on this planet.Navigating cancer. And more…It’s a gift to be able to glimpse at life through the eyes of an 89 year old who’s lived through and experienced so much. It’s my hope that you can extract some age-old wisdom for yourself when you listen to this episode.   “In the beginning of life, all there is is love, and at the end of life, all there is is love. And I think somewhere in the middle, we forget that.” Contact Info:Check out Joseph’s art - https://www.josephebillotti.comSummary/ Call to Action: We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. In this interview, Panache gave an insight into his own experience of crisis and suffering and how it created an experience for spiritual and personal growth. I found Panache’s perspective so empowering. In fact, this conversation became a catalyst for multiple personal events that unfolded during my 2020. I wanted to share this episode again because of the powerful reminder of the importance of the journey to self-love, acceptance, peace and surrender. When you listen, you’ll discover how you can walk the path to enoughness with grace, surrender, and divinity. “People, once they are reacquainted with their essential self, have everything.” Panache Desai is a visionary thought leader and a life catalyst in the area of human development. 183. Raj Jana: Cultivating The Courage To Rise In Love

“To me, the courage to rise in love is the idea of facing everything in front of us with the lens of love.” It’s that time again! The episode where I take you through my monthly reflection and all my learnings from May 2021.This is my fifth reflection this year and I’m seeing such a huge benefit from this deep-dive process. When you get intentional about your life and pay attention to what’s actually happening, you unlock the gifts, lessons, and experiences of the moment. For me, this level of self-reflection is an accelerator that leverages hindsight as a personal and spiritual growth tool. Reflection helps you get the lessons faster, so you can bend time and condense your life. It’s one of the ways I’m able to have my cake and eat it too.  “It’s the greatest gift to find the thing that cannot be taken away when things get hard.” May has been a growth-fuelled, wildly fulfilling month most notably marked by the end of my 20s. This milestone inspired me to purge things that aren’t originating from an internal source or my heart, creating space to rise in something new. If you’ve listened to any of my previous monthly reflections, you’ll know that Georgina El Morshdy is here to help us navigate this conversation. Here are some of the key takeaways you’ll hear us explore: Key takeaways:How it felt to write a eulogy for my 20s. Leaving Austin and marking the end of a chapter. Making the shift from being an inspiration to living an inspired life. How to purge things that no longer serve you from your life. What it means to shatter the idea of you [and how this creates opportunities for growth]. How to know when you’re rising in love. Trust, synchronicities, and faith in the universe. What is time and how can you bend it in your favor. My definition of faith and how to cultivate it. What you find when you strip away what isn’t yours. And more…  As well as finding something for yourself in this episode, I hope my monthly reflections inspire you to look back over your own life so you can extract the lessons that life is teaching you. “To me, the goal of personal development work is utility. Is it useful or not for me to believe this thing?” Contact Info:Raj’s contact details. Find Georgina on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/georginaelmorshdy/ Summary/ Call to Action: We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review.
