For other people, it's like, “I'm going to play with the kids and we're gonna like order takeout.” So, knowing what is important will help you prioritize those things. So, for myself, work is important and then spending time with my kids is important. So, my house looks like a little bit of a dumpster fire, and I feed my kids more Kraft dinner than I probably should. Will it always be like that? We all share a universal human need to be loved.  And sometimes we can feel pressure to do (or have) certain things in order to feel accepted by the people we care about or look up to.    I get it – self-doubt, imposter syndrome, comparison, fear of judgment – all this stuff will take a mile if we give it an inch.  So, we’ve gotta be really discerning about what (and whom) we allow to validate us as women.   In today’s episode, we explore the only two options for seeking validation and approval – externally or internally. Listen in as I explore what it means to seek external validation vs. internal validation, and how we can be more intentional about what’s guiding our self-perception and worthiness.   P.S.
