Accountability to Honor Self Love Practices

For Jen, as a married mother of four, there are a lot of people who require her time, attention and love. Through the years, and with the help of her breath coach, she has learned that one of the greatest ways to give herself love is through space, time and solitude, with no distractions and no one that requires her attention. Today’s solo is all about holding ourselves, and each other, accountable for regularly making time for the things that nourish our souls. For Jen, a solo weekend centered on work and luxury is the perfect reset, but it may look different for others. Whatever it is, find it, honor it and be sure to make it a part of your life this month.  Today on Becoming Iconic:How Jen identified her growing need for solitude Sage advice from her breath coach: take a solo tripOvercoming the fear of asking her husband for supportJen’s warm welcome home after time away, nourishing her soulConnect with Jen:Read BI Magazine: becomingiconic.co/magazineHang out with Jen: @becomingiconic Work with Jen: becomingiconic.co This show is produced by Soulfire ProductionsConnect with Jen: Read the magazine here: @iconicmagazine__ Hang out with Jen here: @becomingiconic See all your resources here: www.becomingiconic.co

Why I Stopped Offering Group Coaching

Entrepreneurs have a lot of flexibility - they don’t have to sit in a cubicle all day long and don’t have certain tasks to do in order to be told they are doing a “good job”. That said, entrepreneurs can still get stuck in the mundane ways of doing things. Today’s solo episode is about breaking free from routine, in pursuit of work that feels more true and aligned, even if that routine has been lucrative and reliable for a number of years. In Jen’s case, it was time to step away from group coaching in pursuit of something she’s much more passionate about: one on one mentorship. Today on Becoming Iconic:The oversaturation of group coaching offerings Struggling to hold students accountable in a group settingWhat Jen aims to achieve through one on one coaching Connect with Jen:Read BI Magazine: becomingiconic.co/magazineHang out with Jen: @becomingiconic Work with Jen: becomingiconic.co This show is produced by Soulfire ProductionsConnect with Jen: Read the magazine here: @iconicmagazine__ Hang out with Jen here: @becomingiconic See all your resources here: www.becomingiconic.co

Men Offer More Than The Money They Make

Man or woman, some of us dream of being CEOs, some of us dream of being parents and some of us dream of something in between. We hear a lot about the paradigm shift women are experiencing, as more and more of us women begin earning more than our partners, but we don’t often stop to acknowledge that men are experiencing a paradigm shift of their own. Many men who place their role as father higher than their role as earner are met with emasculating judgment from the outside. They’re told that they should want to do something more, as if their desire to provide love and support for their children is not enough on its own. Today’s episode is all about advocating for the men who understand that there’s more to being a father than simply footing the bill. Today on Becoming Iconic:Men progress too: Acknowledging parallel paradigm shiftsAddressing those who say a man “should” want to contribute  Gratitude for Jen’s husband and the value he provides for her familyHelping primary income earning women get anchored & avoid resentmentConnect with Jen:Read BI Magazine: becomingiconic.co/magazineHang out with Jen: @becomingiconic Work with Jen: becomingiconic.co This show is produced by Soulfire ProductionsConnect with Jen: Read the magazine here: @iconicmagazine__ Hang out with Jen here: @becomingiconic See all your resources here: www.becomingiconic.co

The Ethics Around Pricing

Today’s solo is Jen’s response to the notion that consistently raising your prices is the only way to scale your business, and the rampant ego stroking that’s fueling the inflation within the entrepreneurial space. Of course, there are many people who may be undervaluing their services, and do need to increase prices in order to reflect higher self-worth, but the select few under-qualified sellers and ego-driven buyers need to be called out and held accountable. This episode is about establishing when enough is enough and serves as a reminder that there are other ways to grow a business.Today on Becoming Iconic:The ego stroking problem: holding both the client and provider accountableJen’s own approach to establishing attainable pricesA self-reflection and evaluation of Jen’s business offeringsStop raising your prices and start broadening your servicesConnect with Jen:Read BI Magazine: becomingiconic.co/magazineHang out with Jen: @becomingiconic Work with Jen: becomingiconic.co This show is produced by Soulfire ProductionsConnect with Jen: Read the magazine here: @iconicmagazine__ Hang out with Jen here: @becomingiconic See all your resources here: www.becomingiconic.co
