026 - The ACE Study and Curing Your Pain

What is the ACE Study?  It's the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study; from 1995-1997 the study gauged long-term health impact of people who experienced a variety of types of traumas as children.  Dr. Hanscom and I talked about this on last week's episode but I realized that many people were not aware of this study. I also talk through your path out of chronic pain.  How did I do it?  How can you do it? If you like what you hear, please take a minute to leave a 5 Star Review on iTunes/Apple Podcasts and let the people scrolling through podcasts know why you spend part of your week listening to THIS Podcast.

024 - Red Phoenix Nutrition w/ Sarah Stoiber-Kumar

Sarah Stoiber-Kumar is a nutrition coach in Chicago and is the Owner of Red Phoenix Nutrition.  Sarah's methodology is different from many nutrition coaches in that a large part of her evaluation in building plans for her clients is around stressors and what is going on in their life, as opposed to the standard Height + Weight + Gender + Age.   In this episode we discuss all of the things that go into nutrition plans, weight loss, performance and longevity. 023 - June Results + The Best Of from 2017

It's a Holiday Week so instead of interviewing someone I thought I'd go back into the archives and pull out some clips from a few episodes that aired last year.  Lots of good nuggets in here - if you like the few minute clips that play you can go back into past episodes to listen to it in it's entirety. I also go through the massive 40% increase in downloads in June as well as the full demographic statistics. If you like what you hear please consider leaving a 5-star and written review on Apple Podcasts.  Your short 2 minute gesture really helps the podcast with exposure and allowing more people to be helped.

022 - Thank You Dr. Sarno

I asked social media the question: "How is your life different since you found Dr. Sarno's work?"  The answers were awesome - I address each of the responses, including the ones where people may need a pep talk. This episode falls right between the anniversary of Dr. Sarno's death and when I found Dr. Sarno's work.  My life was changed the day I bought that book.   *The introduction was taken from the Kickstarter campaign for the Sarno-inspired documentary "All the Rage."  All credit goes to the filmmakers of the movie. *Please leave an iTunes/Apple Podcast 5-Star Review along with a Written Review, if you like what you hear.
