Episode 78 - Mike Doehla
Mike Doehla is the founder and CEO of Stronger U Nutrition, he's got a pretty good gig. It didn't come without focusing on the little things. People first, be yourself, get in front of people more, put in the time even if you aren't getting paid. Spending more time in coffee shops than click funnels has brought him a lot of momentum so far and he's collected a pretty strong team. We expanded on my theory about dogs making people better at lifting, we talked about travelling, we talked about his old banking job, we talked a tiny bit about HR, we talked about core values, we talked about a couple people he looks up to, we talked about people who stood out to him at his first Kansas City Fitness Summit, we talked about game of thrones and we talked about scrambled eggs and chia seeds. Actually that last part was me, I was talking, but he was listening, and that's what makes him a good guy. Mike is a very real, good guy. Make sure you check this one out and share it in your story. Especially you, Dean Guedo. Get full access to Insight by Chris Liddle at chrisliddle.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 77 - Alex McBrairty
Alex and I first really bonded over the "Awkward Turtle" signal which he showed me in Kansas City. It's a great way to signal distress to your peers if someone is ever embarrassing you in front of Bret Contreras. Alex McBrairty is the kind of guy where we could have had a 5 hour long podcast episode. Fortunately for you, we reigned it in. There was a moment in this one where he made a dramatic pause and I thought I lost the connection with him in the video feed. Didn't even edit that out - I hope you enjoy it. THAT is how dramatic his pause was. All jokes aside, Alex McBrairty is someone who is very passionate about what he does and loves to support his peers. He is creative, has recently had the opportunity to fulfill his desires for travel and being social, and has an ice cream recipe for you that will keep you on track with your fitness goals. Hope you enjoy this one! Get full access to Insight by Chris Liddle at chrisliddle.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 76 - Tara Gaucher
Today I had a great visit with Tara Gaucher, we gave a shout out to my good friend Dustin, we talked a little bit about Carl Paoli, I gave a shout out to Edith, one of my podcast listeners and we dove down a whole bunch of rabbit holes. We talked about Big Hairy Audacious Goals, we talked about risky jumps, we talked about travelling, we talked about how awkward I can be when I order food, we talked about getting cab rides, we talked about water that you can't drink and water that you can drink. There are a lot of times in our life where things don't quite go as we planned. We highlighted a few moments where Tara realized "what am I doing here!?". We talked about the value of travel. We talked about the value of minimalism. We talked about how hard people can be on themselves and the benefits of going out of your way to show up for yourself like you would for a loved on. Tara has a very diverse list of jobs she has done in her past and a wealth of good old fashioned life experience. I enjoyed our conversation so I hope you do too. Episode 75 - Anthony Do
Anthony Do is a film maker who got his start via a passion for telling stories of his travels. He is incredibly creative but at the same time extremely hard on himself. He called me from Iceland where he is currently Hafþór Björnsson's videographer. Anyone not knowing who that is, it's The Mountain from Game of Thrones also known as one of the strongest men in the world. Anthony has worked for a lot of high profile clients and learned a lot of valuable lessons so far in his life. We had a great conversation and even got to catch up about things we were doing off the air as well. Thank you for listening and please share with your friends. Episode 74 - Mark Zarate
He's a teacher, personal trainer, cancer survivor, podcast host, just got engaged 9 days ago and he likes cookies as much as me. He's my new American home slice. Ironically he drinks Tim Hortons coffee more than I do. If you've made it this far, you'll enjoy this one a lot. We crushed two episodes today. I'll be appearing on his podcast, "Cool, Calm, & Chaotic" on Wednesday. It will be a good combo to listen to both perspectives. Stay tuned! Until then, I would like to introduce you to Mark Zarate. Episode 73 - Kevin "Coach" Zimmerman
Coach as he is most often referred to, has a lot of wisdom to share. That goes without saying. The life experience he has from his various roles working with young offenders as well as his wealth of experience working with athletes has made him into the individual he is today. We talked about the joy that he gets from being a grandparent, a husband, and from seeing people get that light bulb moment as they first get comfortable in the gym. We talked about life's toughest challenges and dark moments and how fitness helps with them. We also talked about the weirdest pre competition ritual he's ever witnessed and I asked him what his favourite things were about dogs and what he admires most about his wife. I hope you enjoy this one, thank you for your ongoing support, please share with a friend and help me by leaving a rating on Apple Podcasts. Episode 70 - Jordan Syatt
Jordan Syatt is a 5x World Record Powerlifter, Gary Vaynerchuk's personal trainer, strength and nutrition coach, enjoys Harry Potter, Coffee, and Big Macs. We scheduled this episode at the end of August so it's been something I've been looking forward to for a while. We talked about unicorn coffee, Dumbledore, J.K. Rowling, Jordan Syatt's Mom, fitness professionals he looks up to, what life was like when he was 10 years old, his recent challenge that's gone viral on YouTube, pivotal moments in his career, emotion versus logic, and many more. You'll have to give this one a listen. The audio is a little weird but that's why I need you to share the episode because that's what will enable me to one day have a budget to maybe get a better internet package or maybe some more RAM for my computer. You know. The little things. All jokes aside, I really appreciate everyone who listens and supports The Lifestyle Chase. It means a great deal to me! Help me promote this episode by sharing it on social media! Next episode will be released 3 days from today! Stay tuned!
