Profit with Law: Profitable Law Firm Growth
Moshe Amsel
Small Law Firms often start from the practice of law and not as a business venture. This ends up causing the growth of the firm to be much longer and more painful than it needs to be. If you started a Law Firm with the intention of increasing your impact, freeing up your time and having all the money you will ever need then the strategies we discuss will be priceless for you. Profit with Law is a show focused on the business of running a law firm as a profitable venture. Packaging and pricing your services, getting clients consistently, growing your staff in a way that feels good to you and implementing systems and technology to set yourself up for success are all discussions you will find here on the show. Moshe Amsel the host of the Profit with Law podcast is not an attorney. He has spent 20 years as an executive in the IT industry before becoming an accountant and business advisor for small businesses. As the owner of a successful accounting firm DreamBuilder Financial and Law Firm Growth coaching organization Profit with Law, Moshe has proven that there are better and different ways for a law firm to do business and be successful. Our mission is to empower all people with wealth creation so that this and future generations can lead a better life. We’d love nothing more than to do this by helping law firm owners on their journey. A law firm is not for practice it’s for profit!

Create Trust with Simple and Authentic Law Firm Marketing with Ali Awad - 266
Send us a textShownotes can be found at https://www.profitwithlaw.com/266. Conventional wisdom teaches that law firms and businesses need to get out there and market themselves — but is that the best way to get cases? Showing possible clients what we can do for them requires more than advertising. We cannot acquire clients through law firm marketing strategies and tactics alone; we must earn them through trust. But how can people trust you if they aren't sure how you can assist them? In this episode, Moshe Amsel interviews the CEO Lawyer, Ali Awad — a well-known social media expert and personal injury attorney. He shares that harnessing social media is all about authenticity. It's not always about advertising; in fact, 90% of his content is educational. Moshe and Ali also discuss how to align your business model with your purpose and build a growth strategy around it. Building a Successful and Efficient Law Practice Right Out of Law School with Chris Guymon - 260
Send us a textShownotes can be found at https://www.profitwithlaw.com/260. As lawyers, a bulk of your knowledge comes from what you learn from school. Experience as an associate in an established law firm will also be beneficial for your skills development. Such experience can also help you realize what field of law to focus on if you haven't settled on one yet. But sometimes, working for bigger law firms means losing control of your own time. You might not have the liberty or authority to improve the firm's operations either. All these problems may lead you to want to start your own practice. But, how can you start a practice right after school and passing the bar? After all, law school doesn’t teach the business side of running a law firm. In this episode, Moshe Amsel is joined by Chris Guymon, a family law lawyer who built a successful practice right after law school. They discuss everything about building a practice — from determining which field of law to focus on to streamlining your operations. Chris also talks about how he manages his firm while continuing to be a dedicated family man. Tune in to this episode if you’re thinking of building your own practice or improving it!
