Adolfo Chautón Pérez es geógrafo urbano y trabaja en diseño cívico. Es consultor "artesano" en Diseño Estratégico en Innovación Social para organizaciones, y sobre todo, instituciones públicas en varios ámbitos. En esta charla hablamos de la participación ciudadana, la conexión humana y formas de vida que nos permitan regenerarnos de manera humana y ambiental. También de la ruralidad y el derecho al tiempo. Nos contó sobre un proyecto de Agroecoteca y otro de Ecocomedores. ⁠Raphaelle Barbier ⁠is a design researcher based in France. In this interview we talk about why it is worthy to introduce co-design in the context of the project dealing with earth observations, and how they did it. Raphaelle tells about her doctoral research in which she uses as case ⁠E-Shape⁠, that project.  She brings clear examples and explains how she sees the role of a designer working in big EU projects, with multiple research partners and other stakeholders, and how co-design can provide new means of creating collective action for sustainability transitions. Antonio Lafuente es un físico teórico de formación. Su práctica está relacionada al  a las nociones de procomún, prototipo, laboratorio ciudadano y ciencia abierta. Fue coordinador del Laboratorio del Procomún entre 2007 y 2017 (MediaLab-Prado, Madrid). Actualmente coordina la web La Aventura de Aprender, desde donde se publica la serie LADA, unas guías abiertas para aprender de todo, desde como hacer un verso, un crowdfunding, hacer frente al cambio climático, y muchísimo más. Max Stearns, a designer that has for a long time worked in the intersection between  participatory design and climate. He also works in European research projects in relation to the mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Sanna Marttila is a designer and researcher working now in IT University of Copenhagen, in Denmark. Sebastián Aravena Ortiz es comunicador y diseñador especializado en el tema medioambiental. Es investigador de doctorado en la Universidad de Leicester y miembro del Institute for ⁠⁠Environmental Futures⁠ el Instituto de Futuros Ambientales, de la misma universidad. En esta entrevista nos va a contar que hace en su investigación de doctorado y en su trabajo donde investiga cómo activistas medioambientales crean campañas y prácticas para luchar por un planeta más respetuoso con la naturaleza. Katie Berns⁠ is a designer and researcher from Ireland based in Finland. Currently, her research is in my focus area on Service Design for Climate Policy within the ⁠ICOS Cities ⁠project. In this interview, we discuss food infrastructures and understand her work on infrastructuring food waste activism. Juan Ignacio Guajardo es un diseñador industrial argentino que hace hace bicicletas y triciclos para transportar material reciclable. Su empresa, Torky, es conocida por un triciclo para cartoneros, los trabajadores de la calle que reciclan cartón. En esta charla hablamos de como un triciclo puede dignificar el trabajo de recicladores y motivar el reciclaje de la población, de nuevos modelos de negocios y de aprender invirtiendo. Tatu Marttila is a Finnish designer, lecturer and researcher in Aalto university, who works in one ICOS project in relation to cities. We talk in this interview about his work in the project, and his previous work on sustainability.  This is a series of 5 interviews to people based or coming from: Ireland, Finland,  Denmark, France and the United States. The main focus is in understanding the possible role of design in infrastructures. I started this enquiry interviewing designers involved in the development of services for other projects or based in other infrastructures. I want to ask them: what can we design in relation to the work of  infrastructures? I work for ICOS, Integrated Carbon Observation Systems. This is a Research Infrastructure focusing on carbon. It provides standardised and open data from close to 180 measurement stations across 16 European countries. The stations observe greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere and also carbon fluxes between the atmosphere, the land surface and the oceans. My work at the moment concentrates on one EU project: IRISCC. Integrated Research Infrastructure Services for Climate Change Risks. In this project we will develop services using a co-design framework. Therefore, my main question is how design could contribute to the development of services?
