Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil, For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10-13. As believers who love the Lord and who are standing for His testimony, we must not be ignorant of the schemes of God’s enemy in his attacks on the church. This week, we have a narration of the article entitled “Being Safeguarded by the Discernment in the Body,” originally published on October 28, 2021. Because of its absolute stand for God’s interest on the earth, the Lord’s recovery is constantly under attack from God’s enemy, which often comes in the form of negative writings and speakings. Under God’s sovereignty, some members in the Body of Christ have the spiritual maturity, discernment, and function to warn fellow members to steer clear of such attacks, which are particularly rampant on the Internet. This function of the mature ones is not out of a desire to hide the so-called “truth” of a certain situation or to exercise control over the freedom of others, but out of their care for their fellow members in the Body of Christ. May the Lord supply us through this speaking and equip us to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
