As believers who love the Lord and who are standing for His testimony, we must not be ignorant of the schemes of God’s enemy in his attacks on the church. In order to help educate and inoculate us against such attacks, the co-workers in North America have released a series of articles on ShepherdingWords.com, which expose the stratagems of the devil. Today, many Christian teachers speak only words of comfort and affirmation while avoiding the numerous warnings that are given throughout the New Testament. If we are faithful to the Lord and His word, we shall see that these warnings are the healthy teaching that will motivate us to live an overcoming Christian life which prepares us to stand before the judgment seat of Christ, when we shall receive either reward or punishment (2 Cor. 5:10). Having been warned, we should also warn others, not out of fearmongering but out of love.
