Life's Teachers
Michael Jacovelli
Your 20s is a weird time. No one knows what they are doing. There are so many different options you can take but it can be so overwhelming. Its a bit of a nuisance when you speak to people older than you and they repeatedly say “your 20s are the best years of your life”. It puts a constant pressure on us that if we are not living our 20s to the fullest, then we are wasting this decade.
Well, this is why I started the LifesTeachers podcast where I help you to navigate your 20s. This podcast aims to educate you on people's valuable experiences as well as improve your self esteem and skill set t

#17 Kieren Devisser Part 1 - How a split second decision lead him to walk 2 million steps in a month
A spontaneous, insightful and story telling episode is brought to you today! Kieren and I went and spent the morning going for an amazing walk and we had some time to kill so what else would you do other than a film podcast?
Kieren is a supernatural human being. I can't even comprehend the things that he does. He has been a big inspiration for me starting this podcast and he is a friend that always tests me to push myself more than I think I am capable of.
Kieren has lived multiple lives and has incredible stories from his 25 years thus far on Earth. He is one person I know for a fact that will accomplish his goals and be a superstar.
For the month of July, Kieren is set on walking 50k steps a day raising money for pancreatic cancer, even reaching 100k steps on multiple days!! That equates to 2 million steps for the month of July which is more steps than what an average person does a year!
We touch on what Kieren has learnt thus far participating in one of the most difficult things he has done in his life to date, his near death experience in New Zealand as well how he has been tested not only physically but spiritually.
Keep an eye out for part 2 where we dig into the deep psychology of conquering such a challenge, discover the other incredible feats he has accomplished as well as what he has been working on behind closed doors that sent him over to LA.

#14 From a 20% chance of surviving to thriving - Sophie's journey overcoming a TBI/mindset shifts/friendships
Can you imagine being induced into a coma after sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and getting a predicted 20% chance of survival or 'good recovery' at just 19 years old?
Today we have Sophie joining us who experienced a freak horse related accident at the end of her first year at uni which resulted in her sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury.
