#15 Chris Bouras - From growing up in commision housing to owning his first property at 21!/school hours/advice for 20s/what quantifies sucess
On the 15th episode of the LifesTeachers podcast, we got Chris Bouras joining us. Chris has an amazing story where he went through a lot of hardship and challenges through his youth which helped shape him into the person he is today. He grew up in commision housing yet through hard work, discipline and determination, he managed to buy his first property at 21. He bought his first home before he even had his first bedroom!
This is such a valuable episode where we talk about the differences of growing up between Gen Z's and Gen X's and where Chris reflects back on his life thus far, discussing what he wish he knew back then if he had his time again.
We discuss whether the school hours should change to be 8:30-5pm, should school finish when you’re 16, what quantifies success, does money buy happiness, the importance of morning routines, do people change in a relationship overtime, what 20 year old’s main focus should be, growing up in commission housing, the biggest regrets Chris has experienced and the lessons he believes every teenager should know! 🤷♂️💭👍
