Optimal Breath, Nasal Breathing & Why Carbon Dioxide is Beneficial w/ Patrick McKeown
On this week's episode of The Red Light Report, I had the honor of sitting down with someone that is considered the top breath expert in the world, Patrick McKeown. During our conversation, Patrick filled me in on the many amazing -- and, sadly, forgotten -- benefits of nasal breathing, how to properly breath, the negative impacts of mouth breathing, why carbon dioxide is actually beneficial and necessary to our physiology and so much more!
Patrick McKeown was a chronic asthmatic for most of his life. When he applied the buteyko breathing method, he freed himself from his asthma condition. As a qualified Buteyko practitioner, he is now just one of a few Western experts accredited and authorised by Prof Konstantin Buteyko to teach this method. His three clinics – Asthma Care – are in Dublin, Galway, and Cork.
International best-selling author of The Oxygen Advantage and creator and master instructor of the Oxygen Advantage technique, Patrick McKeown is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading breathing re-education experts.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or an Olympic athlete, Patrick’s methods provide a fast, simple, scientific and certain way to revolutionize your sports performance and improve your daily wellbeing and health.
Over the past two decades, Patrick has trained thousands of people around the world to safely challenge their bodies and produce positive changes through breathing re-education. He teaches a new way to breathe, combined with specific exercises designed to improve blood chemistry. The result is an increase of oxygen flow to all the body’s systems, meaning greater endurance, strength and power.
Patrick has also released two books this year: Atomic Focus and The Breathing Cure.

Energy & Emotions, Frequency Therapy & Acupuncture vs. Dry Needling w/ Dr. Christopher Motley
When you're talking about energy and how it affects your emotions, it helps when you're listening and learning from someone that has a wealth of positive vibrations himself. And today's guest on The Red Light Report, Dr. Christopher Motley, has those vibrations in spades.
Dr. Motley appreciates the art and science of both eastern and western medicine. To say that one form of medicine is better than the other can only create tension and disharmony. He believes sickness comes from tension and disharmony. Alignment, ease, and detachment create a space for healing. When all forms of healthcare can fall into alignment, in their proper place, the greatest healing for a patient can occur. A practitioner that believes he or she has the only answer to one person's health only creates unhealthy attachments and disharmony.
Dr. Motley believes a healthcare practitioner should desire a space for healing as much as they want it for their patient.Like myself, Dr. Motley started his practice in a "hole in the wall" location, yet he was able to build up his clientele and establish himself as a healing expert with his alternative, holistic treatment techniques that includes Chinese medicine, frequency healing, acupuncture and red light therapy. We got into detail about he early health scares; how and why he decided to forge his unique path as a professional in the healthcare field; his unique and efficacious treatment techniques; his thoughts on energy, resonance, emotions, acupuncture/dry needling and so much more...
Dr. Motley is an absolute joy to listen and learn from. I know you will enjoy this episode!
-
Dr. Mike Belkowski talks with Dr. Christopher Motley about the following:
Frequency therapy
Healing with frequencies of light
His history and how he got into clinical kinesiology, health scares he’s had, and how he has built up his practice
How frequency medicine with sound and light has an effect on your body
The difference between dry needling and acupuncture
How dry needling is superior to acupuncture for reducing pain
The nervous system and how needles interact with our body’s electricity
Energy, resonance, and how your emotions are effected by the electromagnetic spectrum
Chinese medicine and how the liver is associated with anger
How every organ has a different emotion
How your emotions can change your biochemistry
5G and its correlation to your body’s energy
Red light therapy and his experience with it

True Hydration & Structured Water w/ Tracy Duhs
The importance of hydration to your daily health and wellness cannot be understated. But simply drinking water, even crystal clean water, is simply not enough. And while there may be more steps to take or things to consider to optimize your hydration routine, the implications for your wellbeing are monumental.Fortunately, I was able to have a fun, enlightening conversation with my dear friend, Tracy Duhs, on this week's episode of The Red Light Report. Not only is Tracy extremely knowledgable and an expert in the world of water, but she is one of the most positive and happy people you will cross paths with.
When Tracy became a mother, her professional path took a personal turn. Her first child, Grace, was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroid and alopecia universalis at the age of two. Emboldened by her daughter’s struggle, Tracy began her journey into into hydration education by pursuing a PhD in the field of biogenetics as well as shadowing doctors from all around the globe to learn their different approaches to disease. It was through these experiences that Tracy became passionate about hydration as she learned the power hydration has to transform overall health and wellness in all people. Today, Tracy works as a modern wellness advocate specializing in the restorative powers of intelligent hydration. She has parlayed her wealth of experience and knowledge into a multi-dimensional career in wellness advocacy and education, starting with her podcast, HYDRATE. Tracy frequently consults large corporations and hotels to help build and facilitate wellness experiences. She also serves as the Director of the International Brain Summit.
