8 Weeks Before First Criterium, Training Plan
Before we get into the really high intensity ANAEROBIC work that we often hear is the "tune up" before crit season, let's ensure we have the right AEROBIC training set.
Even for a short criterium, a strong aerobic system will allow you to smash the BIGGEST WATTS, since the glycolytic metabolism produces lactate, and the aerobic metabolism consumes lactate. Simple as that!

Tapering Is So Tricky: Cormac Mcgeough, Canel's Pro Cycling
Cormac Mcgeough is a professional road cyclist racing for the Canel’s Pro Cycling Continental team. Cormac has had some great results this season including 3rd Overall at the Green Mountain Stage race and stage wins in both the Tour de Beuce and the Vuelta Ciclista al Ecuador.
