Jesus tells a famous story of a man in Luke 12 who plants more and more crops and builds bigger and bigger barns. He gives his life to the dream of having ‘more’ and God calls him a ‘fool’. This man misses his life. None of us want to be this guy. None of us want to ‘miss our lives’! In this passage Jesus teaches some incredibly profound principles about living a Kingdom life through which we live lives that are ‘rich towards God‘ and ensure we do not miss our lives.

The Kingdom of God has always had enemies. Luke 11 introduces us to the three main ones – the world, the flesh, and the devil – and shows us how they fight, and how Jesus wins. This message by Andrew Wilson, our Teaching Pastor, is part of our series 'The King & His Kingdom'.

In two short stories we see the power of god at action in two very different ways. Both however show the Kingdom of God at work.

Jesus calls His followers not just to hear His Words but to follow and obey. This sermon explores what it looks like to live the Kingdom life as we follow the King.
