In chapter 6, Nehemiah faces opposition from his enemies but sadly also betrayal and undermining from his own people. How he responds to anxiety and fear and continues to build in faith will help us deal with the anxieties and pressures we experience. His simple prayer, ‘Strengthen my hands’, brings God’s power into his situation.
