As a church we are one in Christ and this unifying truth is what enables us to come together and be joined together as one body. This week Steve looks at how King’s has changed over the years and shares some of the journey we have been on around race and diversity.

One Saviour. God has always desired a diverse people for Himself, and this is at the very center of His heart. Right back in Genesis, when God called Abraham and made promises to him, the promise was that through Abraham’s family all nations would be blessed. In this message, Charles (Pastor and Site Leader) explains how the whole bible story points towards many people groups coming together to be one in Christ.

One Faith. We all have many things that make up our identity, our culture, our history, our family and many more. Paul calls these things of the flesh, the parts of our identity that are based on our physical bodies. These things are important they should be celebrated and should not be ignored. But for the follower of Christ the most aspect of your identity should be your faith in Christ, who he is, where he’s from and what he has done.

God invites us to One Table where everyone is welcome, united and equal. As Christians we need to confront racism to reflect God's heart and preserve the unity of the body of Christ.

There are three levels to the gospel in Galatians 1, each of which highlight the multi-layered grace of God. Paul draws on the individual, corporate and cosmic dimensions of what God has done in Christ to confront the ethnic divisions in Galatians.

Race does not really exist, biblically speaking. But racism does. And the church has a vital role in confronting it.

This week Steve Tibbert, our Senior Pastor, share our hopes and plans for King's for the coming year.

We are often drawn to things that are new. For example, the new house, car, diet, job or latest trend. These things can be fun and exciting, but Jesus talked about a new start that was far more important and necessary than anything else. In this talk, Charles walks us through Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemus and the importance of being born again. Charles is a pastor and leads the Beckenham site.
