Despite a lackluster jobs report, Jordan Shapiro sees reasons to be optimistic about the U.S. labor market. “The data’s just not strong,” Steven Ricchiuto says of the August jobs report, meaning the Fed has “cleared the last hurdle” before a rate cut. Now the question is how fast they cut, Steven says, and thinks they’ll move to 3%. Overall, though, Steven still sees “good income growth” for workers.
