ESPN's number one hockey analyst Ray Ferraro joins us today to get us ready for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft tomorrow night.   But... There are other things to discuss before we get to the draft -  We recap the NHL awards that took place last night and question the naming of the awards before digging into the trade rumours surrounding the Winnipeg Jets and their forward Pierre-Luc Dubois and get some info on why Ray thinks a trade with Los Angeles is all but guaranteed.    We then finish the show by focusing on the Chicago Blackhawks and the direction they're heading in after acquiring Taylor Hall before opening the discussion up to the NHL Draft, the philosophy of constructing an NHL team and more.

Two interviews for the price of one!   It's Richard Deitsch filling in for Bob in today's show as we spend the first half with Brian Cooper. We talk to our unofficial business editor about the incoming sale of Larry Tanenbaum's shares of MLSE and what that means for the organization and the professional sports teams it owns.   With Brian gone, we bring in one of the most recent inductees into the Hockey Hall of Fame. We talk to Ken Hitchcock about the honour, his path, not only to the Hall of Fame but to the NHL and more in this condensed interview with a Hall of Famer.

Richard Deitsch filling in for Bob today as we bring on Bruce Arthur and Scott Stinson for a classic roundtable talk to end the week.   We spent the first part of the show going over last night's NBA Draft.    The foursome look at Grady Dick, who the Raptors chose at 13, and discuss the holes he fills for the team before shifting focus to their lack of "change" so far this off-season and wonder - Would it really be a good idea to run it back next season?   After the break we look at the NHL's decision to get rid of their Pride Jerseys and speculate about how this will impact the league.

It's a Hockey Hall of Fame special today as we bring Eric Duhatschek and Scott Burnside on the show. The four break down the Hockey Hall of Fame's class of 2023 as we go over the snubs, surprises and other story lines from the announcement.

Former Mayor of Boston, Labour Secretary for the Biden administration and now Executive Director of the NHLPA - Marty Walsh joins the show today to talk to John and Paul.   We take this time to get to know Marty and his unusual path to the NHLPA as we get an idea about what his other roles have done to prepare him for his current position. We also get an idea of what exactly is on Marty's agenda as he gears up for his first summer as the man in charge of the National Hockey League's Player's Association

Paul Jones joined Shannon again today for a conversation with one of the all time greats, Scotty Bowman.   We get Scotty's perspective on this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs and Final to start the show before we pick the brain of one of the best hockey minds the game has seen, discussing the differences of watching hockey on TV compared to live, the issues with hockey broadcasting and ways we can fix them.   After the break we take a look at the inevitable return of Mike Babcock and Scotty's thoughts on the NHL draft, salary cap and more.

Paul Jones fills in for Bob today as we welcome his television counterpart to the show - Matt Devlin.   After addressing his recent injury and filling us in on his timetable to return, we break down the trade that sent Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns before taking a look at the Denver Nuggets, their championship run and why we think it's good for the league that the Nuggets took home the Larry O'Brien Trophy.   After the break, we get into the Toronto Raptors plans for the offseason now that they have their coach, Darko Rajakovic.
