Zokol and Leggatt join us for today's Golf themed round table as we are sandwiched right in the middle of last week's Canadian Open and this weekend's US Open in LA. With Nick Taylor being the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954, the three break down the significance of the win for Canadian Golf and what this means for the future of the tournament.  After spending some time analyzing Oakdale, the host Golf Course of the Canadian Open we shift focus to South of the border to preview the US Open in Los Angeles and then spend some time further understanding the merger of LIV and the PGA.

John Gibbons is back and raring to talk baseball on today's show. The three start the conversation by focusing on what the heck is wrong with Alek Manoah - After a great first full season with the club, Manoah's play has diminished significantly, and we try to get to the bottom of why it's happened. We also talk to John about the teams roster and their need of a starting pitcher before ending the show with a more general conversation surrounding Major League Baseball's rule changes, scheduling format and more.

Usually when we have Doug Smith on we talk basketball... but we don't usually have Doug Smith on the Day after a Canadian Golfer sinks a 72 foot putt to win the Canadian open.   We Start the show by breaking down Nick Taylor's historic win at the Canadian Open over the weekend and try to figure out where this moment lands in Canadian sports history.   With the golf talk out of the way, Doug gives us a breakdown on the newest member and coach of the Toronto Raptors, Darko Rajakovic.   We find out just who this coach is and what he will bring to the team with Doug, and then speculate on what the roster and coaching staff will look like after Rajakovic gets his hands on them.

Scott MacArthur makes his debut on the podcast today as we welcome him onto the show for a briefing on the Toronto Blue Jays. We start the conversation by looking at the inconsistent play we've seen so far from this ball club. Having won 8 of their last ten games, the three try to figure out if this is the Blue Jays team we should expect to see or if this is just another hot streak. We also spend a lot of time discussing the value of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., what kind of contract he is expecting, and how much the Jays are willing to spend before ending the show with a conversation about Toronto's desperate need for another starting pitcher.

One of the game's top coaches is moving to the front office and we want to hear all about it.   Barry Trotz joins the show today but this time as the in-coming General Manager of the Nashville Predators. We talk to Barry about how this decision came about, why he wants to make this change and his driving force to return to Nashville.   We also get an idea about Barry's philosophy heading into his new position and what his experience as a head coach brings to the table on today's episode & much more with our conversation with Barry Trotz.  

Can't say we were planning on talking golf with the two Daves but we rolled with the punches on today's episode as we welcomed Dave Hodge and Dave Perkins to the show.   With the breaking news of the PGA/LIV Tour merger, we try to break down the information we know so far and figure out just what exactly this means for the sport of Golf.   After the break we discuss the Toronto Blue Jays and their decision to send Alek Manoah down to the Florida Complex League.

Just Bob and John for ya today as we take a look at both the NBA and Stanley Cup Final and go over some of the recent storylines in the sports world.   With Las Vegas becoming the hot bed for professional sports teams lately, Bob and John take a look at what the impact of a MLB team AND NBA would have to the city and question whether adding more teams will convolute the pro sports market in Vegas.   We also make sure to discuss the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers & the Vegas Golden Knights before heading over to the NBA Finals, Alek Manoah's rough start to the season and much more on today's show    

Our New England area sports expert is back as Bob Ryan joins Bob and John for some Boston based sports talk to start off the week.   We begin with the Boston Red Sox and Major League Baseball with Mr.Ryan giving us an update on the general feel for the Red Sox within the fan base in Boston before broadening our conversation to MLB's Scheduling issues, their relocating teams and more.   After the break, the three talk a lot about basketball as we find out from Bob where the Celtics are at - Do they blow up the team and try again? Or are they good enough to run it back next year and win it all?

Ending the week off with a good ol' fashioned roundtable talk as we welcome Doug Smith and Paul Jones onto the show to talk about the Toronto Raptors.   With Toronto being the only team in the NBA without a coach, we spend the majority of the show discussing the teams options to replace Nick Nurse and who we think would make a good fit. We then break down the team's roster and wonder who will be back next year, who's gone for good and whether or not Masai Ujiri and the Toronto Raptors should commit to a full on re-build.

Darren Pang joins the show today so the three can break down some of the big hirings that have gone down in the NHL.   We look at the fits for both Kyle Dubas in Pittsburgh and Brad Treliving in Toronto before spending the last bit of the show previewing the Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Florida Panthers.
