16. The Youngest Person to Travel to Every Country|Lexie Alford

At 21 years old, Lexie Alford is the youngest person to travel to every country in the world, and she's got the Guiness World Record to prove it. I had the pleasure of sitting down with her shortly after she received her official certificate (we get into how the process works).  We talked about the origins of her travel story, some of the craziest (and dangerous) experiences she's been through, and the insightful travel hacks that took her many years to learn. I appreciated how open Lexie was about discussing the 'unsexy' parts of travel, like the loneliness she felt, feeling like she was undateable given her hectic travel schedule, and what her relationship with travel is today after traveling to every country in the world. Grateful to have had her on and to share this knowledge with you all. As always, please share, rate, and review! <3 If you enjoy the podcast, would you please consider leaving a short review on Apple Podcasts/iTunes and a rating on our Spotify show? It takes less than 60 seconds, and it really makes a difference in helping to convince hard-to-get guests. 15. How to Overcome Your Fears|Sugar Ray Leonard

Sugar Ray Leonard, one of the greatest sports icons alive, joins us on Growth Minds today.  To be honest, I didn't know quite what to expect in this interview because my boxing knowledge is comparable to cooking skills - minimal at best. The good news for me and you, Ray shared valuable insights and stories that apply to every aspect of our lives. I learned a lot myself about what it takes to overcome fear and anxiety, the importance asking for help, when your back is against the wall, and most importantly, what it takes to be an exceptional human being. He also shares fascinating stories on his meeting with Nelson Mandela, the close relationship he had with Muhammad Ali and what he learned from him, how he fought through his internal doubts and struggles at the top of his career, and much more. What surprised me about Ray was how open he was about his life - from his drug addiction, being sexually molested as a child, and the doubts he had throughout his career. Very appreciative of him for being so genuine with his presence. I hope you enjoy this conversation with Sugar Ray Leonard and I. As always, please subscribe, share, and leave a review! 10. How to Captivate Anyone|Vanessa Van Edwards

Vanessa Van Edwards has broken down “people skills” into a science-based approach to teach us how to master your social skills including body language, social psychology, and more. Her website Science of People is a human behavior research lab, where she studies people of all backgrounds on human behavior, psychology, and relationships to answer questions like: What makes someone charismatic? Why didn’t I get the date? Do people like me? How can I win the deal? In just 30 minutes, Vanessa blew me away with the specifics of her research and data, such as measuring the distance between someone’s shoulder and ears in order to know if they’re a leader. Due to Vanessa’s astounding and unique approach in introducing the importance of PQ (People Quotient) instead of IQ, she has been featured on CNN, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, and has given keynote speeches at MIT and several Fortune 500 companies. 9. How to Break Through Mental Barriers|Rich Roll

After checking into rehab from facing alcoholism, then being 50lbs overweight at the age of 40, Rich decided that he wasn't going to be another statistic. Rich overcame all odds and committed to becoming the best version of himself in all areas of his life, particularly health. He adopted a plant-based diet and began doing iron-man distance triathlons, including the EPIC5 CHALLENGE - an odyssey that entailed completing 5 ironman-distance triathlons on 5 islands of Hawaii in under a week. Yes, he did all of this by just eating a plant-based diet. Today, at the age of 50 (almost 51), he's recognized as the "25 Most Fittest Men in the World" by Men's Fitness, a #1 bestselling author of Finding Ultra, and hosts one of the most popular podcasts in the world. I had the honor of sitting with Rich in his beautiful home in Malibu, where he shares how to break through your mental and physical barriers, living to your full potential, finding balance while running a business, being a father/husband, and training as an ultra-endurance competitor.
