James Delingpole: A Mans Quest for Truth in a World of Uncertainty

What is the truth? Are there only one truth? We are curious what is the truth and can it be it many different truths? One man that has been searching for the truth is back on the podcast for the second time.   James Delingpole is a British journalist, author, and broadcaster known for his controversial opinions on various topics, including climate change, politics, and culture.   Delingpole began his career as a journalist in the late 1980s, writing for various publications such as The Daily Telegraph and The Spectator. He gained recognition for his witty and often provocative writing style, which resonated with a conservative audience. Over the years, Delingpole has written numerous articles and opinion pieces on a wide range of subjects, earning him both praise and criticism from different quarters.   One of the areas where Delingpole has been particularly vocal is climate change. He is known for his skepticism towards mainstream scientific consensus on the issue and has often criticized what he perceives as alarmism surrounding climate change. Delingpole has argued that climate change is either exaggerated or not primarily caused by human activity. These views have made him a controversial figure within the scientific community and have led to heated debates with proponents of mainstream climate science.   In addition to his work as a journalist, Delingpole has also authored several books. One of his most well-known works is "Watermelons: How Environmentalists are Killing the Planet, Destroying the Economy, and Stealing Your Children's Future." In this book, Delingpole argues that environmentalism is a cover for socialist ideologies and that policies aimed at combating climate change are detrimental to economic growth and individual freedom.   Also check out James popular podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/7bdfnyRzzeQsAZQ6OT9e7G?si=efa7e94c2524421d

Allan Savory: Can we be wrong about the real reason for climate change?

Nearly two-thirds of the planet is on the brink of desertification. Could this alarming trend be a driving force behind climate change? There's a prevailing notion that wild animals disrupt natural habitats, but what lessons were learned from the culling of 40,000 elephants? Did this drastic action alleviate the problem, or did it exacerbate the environmental crisis? What can each of us do about it? If you are not interested in climate change we can promise that there are a lot of life-lessons to be learned from this episode.   Allan had a famous TED talk back in 2013 and it has been seen almost 9 million times. He is also the founder of the Savory Institute.   Allan Savory is a Zimbabwean ecologist, farmer, and environmentalist, born on September 15, 1935. He is best known for developing the holistic management framework, an approach to managing resources such as land, livestock, and water in a sustainable and regenerative way.   Savory's holistic management emphasizes the interconnectedness of ecological, social, and economic factors in decision-making. One of the key principles is the use of properly managed grazing of livestock as a tool to restore and maintain healthy grasslands. Savory argues that well-managed grazing mimics the natural behavior of large herds of wild herbivores, contributing to soil fertility, biodiversity, and overall ecosystem health.   Enjoy

What Historical and Contemporary Factors Lead Nations to War? With David Murrin

What Historical and Contemporary Factors Lead Nations to War? What Catalysts Have Historically Driven Humanity to Form New Social Systems? How Does David Murrin Anticipate the Near Future Will Unfold in Terms of Global Dynamics and Societal Changes?   David has been described as a polymath who started his career as a geophysicist, and who then entered finance at JP Morgan where he worked for seven years. Since then for more than two and a half decades he has been running his own hedge fund.   During his financial career, his main focus has been on finding and understanding collective human behavioral patterns that comprise the study of human systems behavior. Including deep-seated ‘patterns’ in history and then using them to predict the future for geopolitics and markets in today’s turbulent times.   He has a remarkable track record. David has written four books. Breaking the Code of History recognizes that post 9/11, the world changed in an instant. Using his theory's of human social structures he was able to successfully predict back in 2007 the key process in human social structures that have impacted today’s changing world, including the decline of America and the West and the rise of China, and the reality of climate change.   His second book released in 2018 is Lions Led By Lions which examines Britain’s misunderstood involvement in the First World War and the achieved learning curve of its Army's leadership that resulted in a war-winning British Expeditionary Force rolling back the German Army in 1918. The story provides clear lessons that should be applied by today's leaders concerning the deterrence of global conflict.   David's third book is a call to arms, in which his Now or Never UK Defense Review highlights the clear and present threats faced by Britain in the years and decade ahead from Russia and especially China, and the urgency for the need for large scale rearmament to secure the future peace.   David's latest book Red Lightning which integrates fact and fiction and describes from a future perspective how China wins WW3 in 2025. It is a sober warning to the leaders of the Western World, that peace will only be maintained by a hard-won deterrence of aggression.   Enjoy!
