Initially, only shows that are already growing on Spotify and a curated set of The Ringer podcasts will get a bigger stage via Netflix. It's unlikely that small indie podcasts will join them, but a show that grows might.
Most people consume their podcasts on the go, rather than sitting on the sofa, so their switching to consuming via Netflix is far from a sure thing.
