3529 Fuel Your Dreams with Emotional Resilience
You can have all the knowledge in the world and be connected to everyone and anyone, but if you don't believe in yourself, you will not go far. Therefore, fuel your dreams with emotional resilience. As you navigate through life with aspirations and ambitions, it becomes crucial to manage your emotions and feelings effectively. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co These internal factors can either fuel your journey towards success or become obstacles that hinder your progress. If you allow your emotions to overpower your rational thinking, your dreams may fade into the background while you focus on extinguishing the fire ignited by your feelings. To stay committed to your goals without losing sight of your emotions, you must take intentional steps to maintain a healthy balance in your life. This requires ongoing effort and dedication to self-awareness, self-improvement, and emotional regulation. It's a continuous process of understanding who you are, envisioning who you want to become, and ensuring that your emotions do not derail you from your path to success. So, how do you gain control over your emotions so your dreams can rise? You have got to stay grounded in the pursuit of your dreams. The K.I.S.S. ~ Stay grounded in the pursuit of your dreams! As we discuss what this looks like in real life, think about how you handle things, good or bad, and where you see yourself right now. This is not about beating yourself up, but looking at it with a compassionate microscope so you can stay grounded in pursuing your dreams. PRACTICE MINDFULNESS AND SELF-REFLECTION One way to stay grounded in the pursuit of our dreams is to practice mindfulness and self-reflection. By cultivating a habit of introspection, we can better understand our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This self-awareness enables us to identify triggers that may lead to emotional upheaval and respond to challenges with clarity and composure. In both personal and professional settings, mindfulness allows us to navigate complex situations with grace and resilience. "Mindfulness is the compass that guides us through turbulent waters, helping us navigate our emotions with grace and clarity." - Kristianne Wargo SET REALISTIC GOALS AND CREATE A STRATEGIC PLAN Setting realistic goals and creating a strategic plan is another effective way to stay committed to our aspirations while managing our emotions. By breaking down our overarching objectives into manageable tasks and milestones, we can track our progress and celebrate small victories along the way. This structured approach not only keeps us focused on our goals but also prevents overwhelming emotions from derailing our momentum. In the words of renowned author and motivational speaker Tony Robbins, "Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible." "Setting goals is not just about reaching the destination; it's about embracing the journey and celebrating every step forward. One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" - Kristianne Wargo SURROUND YOURSELF WITH A SUPPORTIVE NETWORK Moreover, surrounding ourselves with a supportive network of mentors, friends, and colleagues can provide invaluable guidance and encouragement on our journey toward success. By seeking advice from experienced individuals who have faced similar challenges, we can gain new perspectives and insights that help us navigate obstacles with confidence and determination. Building a strong support system not only strengthens our resolve but also reinforces our belief in our capabilities and potential. "In the tapestry of life, a supportive network weaves threads of strength and encouragement, fortifying our belief in ourselves and our potential." - Kristianne Wargo In the words of mindset and focus experts, the importance of self-belief cannot be overstated. "Believing in yourself is the cornerstone of achieving your dreams. Trust in your abilities and never underestimate the power of your potential." ~ Kristianne Wargo CHALLENGE: Where are you unsettled in your emotional resilience? What gets under your skin where it's hard to bounce back quickly? How can you make a change to redirect yourself in your everyday journey? By nurturing a positive mindset, practicing self-care, and embracing resilience, you can overcome self-doubt and fear, and unlock your true potential to reach new heights of success. Remember, your belief in yourself is the guiding light that illuminates the path to your dreams. Trust yourself with each decision you make so the journey is well-lived. Stay committed to your goals, and let your unwavering self-belief propel you toward the future you envision. "Be present. Be incredible. 3528 Faith Produces Perseverance
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ~ James 1:2-3 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ~ James 1:4 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co This verse encourages believers to find joy in the midst of trials and challenges, recognizing that these difficulties can strengthen their faith and character, leading to maturity and wholeness. It emphasizes the importance of perseverance and trust in God's plan for their lives. Life is a beautiful paradox, a delicate balance of sorrow and joy, challenges and victories. In the midst of adversity, there is hope; in times of sorrow, there is joy awaiting us. It's the ebb and flow of life that shapes us and teaches us to appreciate the blessings that come our way. Amidst the chaos and uncertainties of this world, it's easy to fall into the trap of negative patterns and lose sight of the bigger picture. However, it's essential to remember that there is always a glimmer of light in the darkness, a reason to hope even in the face of despair. The K.I.S.S. ~ Faith produces perseverance! While suffering and disappointments may be inevitable, there is comfort in knowing that each day presents new opportunities and blessings. "For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning." ~ Psalm 30:5 Tears and joy can coexist, painting a vivid tapestry of emotions that remind us of the complexity and beauty of life. Our faith and belief in a greater purpose allow us to find strength and consolation, knowing that we are cherished and loved unconditionally. You are not alone in your journey. God is with you! "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." ~ Romans 15:13 Today, find comfort in the assurance that you are not defined by your circumstances but by the unwavering love and grace given to you. Embrace the paradox of life with faith, knowing that you are deeply cherished and cared for by your heavenly Father. God takes care of your heart; it's not your accomplishments that fill your heart. Stay encouraged, for you are a beloved child of God, deserving of all the blessings and miracles that await you. Yes, there are going to be ups and downs, and all around, but embrace each moment with gratitude and faith, believing that you are guided and protected by a divine presence that surrounds you with love, God himself. "For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:17 May your day be filled with the peace and joy that comes from knowing that you are loved beyond measure. 3527 Find Freedom in Forgiveness
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's all too easy to fall into the trap of keeping score in our relationships, especially in marriage. But what if, instead of keeping score, you choose to find freedom in forgiveness? As you know, it's all too easy to find ourselves mentally tallying up who did the dishes last, who took out the trash, who planned the last date night, or whose turn it is to get the kiddos ready for bed. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co What if you let go of the need to constantly measure your spouse's actions against your own and instead focus on fostering a deeper, more loving connection? How would that make you feel? You know I'm all about a good football game. But in this case, the score of your game needs to remain zero to zero. Let me ask you-- What is the score? If you have to think twice, you are keeping score. In marriage, give 'n take is all a part of unconditional love. But once you allow yourself to keep score and lean more toward what's not happening, you know that maybe the game is a little more serious than you thought. So, how do you keep score to not keep score? You must connect to the heart, not the scoreboard. The K.I.S.S. ~ Connect to the heart! Now, understand that words and actions have power. Yet, if everything is done because one of you wants the "win," you are married for the wrong reasons. You don't see the person you are sleeping with. 1. Practice Empathy and Understanding One of the most powerful ways to let go of scorekeeping in a marriage is to practice empathy and understanding. Put yourself in your partner's shoes, try to see things from their perspective, and approach disagreements with compassion. When you let go of the need to be right (that "win") and instead seek to understand, you create a foundation of trust and emotional intimacy. For example, instead of getting upset when your partner forgets to do something you asked, take a moment to consider what might be going on in their world that led to the oversight. By approaching the situation with empathy, you open the door to forgiveness and deeper connection. "In the game of love, the score that truly matters is the one where both partners feel seen, heard, and loved." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Communicate Openly and Honestly Another key to breaking free from the cycle of scorekeeping is open and honest communication, not demands or hints of "this is right." Create a safe space for both you and your partner to express your thoughts, feelings, and needs without fear of judgment. By fostering a culture of open communication, you can address issues as they arise instead of letting them fester and lead to resentment. For instance, if you feel like your partner isn't pulling their weight in certain aspects of the relationship, have a candid conversation about your expectations and how you can support each other better. By communicating openly, you pave the way for understanding and forgiveness to flourish. "True love thrives in the vulnerability of honest communication." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. Cultivate Gratitude and Appreciation Lastly, to shift away from keeping score and moving toward a more loving and forgiving mindset, cultivate a practice of gratitude and appreciation. Take time each day to reflect on the qualities and actions of your partner that you are grateful for. Show appreciation for the little things they do, whether it's making you a cup of coffee in the morning or leaving a sweet note on your desk. By focusing on the positive aspects of your relationship and expressing gratitude regularly, you create a sense of mutual respect and admiration that transcends petty grievances. For example, make it a habit to express gratitude to your partner for their contributions to your shared life, no matter how small. Remember, you're in this together. And this will help you both feel valued and loved, strengthening your bond and fostering forgiveness. "In the dance of marriage, gratitude is the music that keeps the rhythm of love alive." ~ Kristianne Wargo In marriage, finding freedom in forgiveness requires a shift in mindset from keeping score to embracing empathy, communication, and gratitude. By letting go of the need to tally up perceived slights and instead choosing to forgive and love unconditionally, you, as a couple, can deepen your connection and create a relationship rooted in understanding and compassion. As you navigate the challenges of everyday life with your spouse, remember that the true victory lies not in winning imaginary competitions but in building a foundation of love that transcends scorekeeping and flourishes in forgiveness. 3526 How to Nurture Parent-Child Connections
Expressing love to our children is a constant balancing act. Even as hard as parents try, love can get lost in the message if parents don't learn how to nurture parent-child connections. As you know, parenting is an intricate dance. Just as each child is unique, so too are the ways they give and receive love. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co While parents may pour their hearts into demonstrating affection, sometimes it's not received well, if at all. This can lead to misunderstandings, miscommunications, and, ultimately, a disconnect in the parent-child relationship. Gary Chapman, renowned author and counselor, pioneered the concept of the Five Love Languages - Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. By understanding and speaking a child's specific love language, parents can bridge the gap and nurture a deeper connection with their little ones. Words of Affirmation Words of affirmation like "Your hair looks amazing today!" or "You played an incredible game tonight!" hold significant value for children who thrive on praise. Whether complimenting their personality, achievements, appearance, or anything that validates them, these words can have a lasting impact. It's important to note that offering a monetary reward to a child who craves affirmation will ultimately leave them feeling unfulfilled. Acts of Service During the formative years, we care for our children by fulfilling tasks they are unable to do independently. As they grow, our love manifests through guiding them in learning how to navigate life on their own. For a child who resonates with acts of service as their primary love language, understanding which specific acts hold significance is crucial. Does assisting with homework or teaching them a new skill like throwing a ball make them feel loved and valued? Gifts Children who resonate with this love language cherish gifts as a physical expression of love and care. However, they may also perceive a scarcity of gifts as a scarcity of love. It's essential to understand that the value of the gift lies not in its cost but in the sentiment behind it. Acknowledging that a child may feel more appreciated with a small token like a pack of gum than with a hug is key to fostering effective communication and connection. Quality Time Children who communicate through this love language crave dedicated and uninterrupted attention. From playful interactions on the floor during infancy to engaging in conversations, reading bedtime stories, or enjoying outdoor activities as they grow older, the essence of quality time lies in the bond created through shared experiences. While the specific activity may vary, the shared moments hold the utmost importance. In families with multiple children, it can be challenging for a child to secure one-on-one time with a parent. It's essential for them to feel valued and reassured that they deserve and are worthy of receiving undivided attention. Physical Touch The profound impact of physical touch on emotional well-being has been recognized for ages. From the early stages of development where held infants thrive compared to those left alone, to older children who continue to yearn for physical closeness, the significance of simple gestures like a touch on the arm, a reassuring pat on the back, or a warm hug cannot be overstated. These acts of physical affection hold special importance for children fluent in this love language, as they seek to tangibly feel the depth of your love and care. So how do you discover your child's love language? The only way you can do that is to learn to read your child. The K.I.S.S. ~ Learn to read your child! Discovering a child's love language requires a mindful approach and a willingness to adapt. Here are three practical steps parents can take to understand and speak their child's unique love language: 1. Observe and Listen: Pay close attention to how your child expresses affection towards others and what they request or appreciate in return. For example, if your child often seeks hugs and physical closeness, their primary love language might be Physical Touch. In this case, offering frequent hugs, cuddles, and high-fives can make them feel cherished and understood. 2. Experiment and Engage: Try expressing love to your child through each of the Five Love Languages and observe their reactions. For a child whose love language is Receiving Gifts, surprising them with a small token of appreciation like a handmade card or a favorite treat can speak volumes. Alternatively, engaging in shared activities such as playing a board game or going for a nature walk caters to a child who values Quality Time. 3. Communicate and Validate: Open communication is key to understanding your child's emotional needs. Encourage them to express how they feel loved and appreciated, and validate their feelings even if they differ from your own. Using Words of Affirmation to acknowledge their efforts, strengths, and unique qualities can boost their self-esteem and reinforce a positive parent-child bond. By actively learning and speaking your child's love language, you can foster a nurturing and supportive environment where love flows freely and authentically. Just as a flower needs the right conditions to bloom, children thrive when their emotional needs are met in a language they understand. So, let's embrace the journey of discovery and celebrate the beauty of loving our children the way they receive love. "Be present. Be incredible. 3524 Retreat from the Ripple Effect
Healthy living is not something that comes with ease. Usually, there are more temptations and troubles before there is success and strength. Instead of sticking to the same ole patterns, retreat from the ripple effect. Don't you think it's time you make the changes needed for you to be healthy? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Life is way too short and precious! Amidst the chaos of our fast-paced lifestyles, it's easy to get caught up in unhealthy habits and neglect our well-being. But what if it's time to break free from this cycle, take a step back, and focus on creating a healthier version of yourself? "Healthy living is not something that comes with ease. Usually, there are more temptations and troubles before there is success and strength," says Kristianne Wargo. This sentiment rings true for many of us who struggle to prioritize our health in the midst of daily demands. It's time to make the changes needed for you to be healthy. This involves breaking free from old patterns and habits that no longer serve you. Instead of adhering to the status quo, it's essential to carve out a path that aligns with your well-being goals. "In this season of life, you have the opportunity to erase what hasn't worked and focus on what can be done now to create your now in healthy living." ~ Kristianne Wargo. Your health and well-being are paramount, and it's crucial to prioritize self-care without making excuses. The K.I.S.S. ~ Prioritize YOU!!! Now, you can look at the normal stuff that everyone talks about. 1. Mindful Eating: Instead of mindlessly consuming food, take the time to savor each bite. Listen to your body's hunger cues and opt for nourishing, whole foods that fuel your body. 2. Prioritize Movement: Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine, whether it's a brisk walk, yoga session, or dance class. Movement not only benefits your physical health but also boosts your mood and energy levels. 3. Practice Self-Care: Carve out time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation, whether it's reading a book, taking a bubble bath, or meditating. Prioritizing self-care is essential for maintaining overall well-being. Certainly, there are some other actions that we don't think of immediately to prioritize your health and well-being. 1. Hydration Habits - Small Step: Start your day with a glass of water before consuming any other beverages or food. - Small Step: Carry a reusable water bottle with you throughout the day to ensure you stay hydrated. - Small Step: Set a goal to drink a certain amount of water each day and track your intake using a water tracker app. 2. Sleep Quality Improvement - Small Step: Establish a bedtime routine that includes winding down activities such as reading or meditating. - Small Step: Create a cool, dark, and quiet sleep environment to promote optimal rest. - Small Step: Limit screen time before bed and consider implementing a digital curfew to improve sleep quality. 3. Stress Management Strategies - Small Step: Incorporate daily mindfulness practices such as deep breathing exercises or meditation. - Small Step: Identify stress triggers and develop coping mechanisms such as journaling or talking to a trusted friend. - Small Step: Prioritize self-care activities that help reduce stress levels, such as taking a nature walk or engaging in a hobby you enjoy. As you embark on this journey towards a healthier you, remember this. "You matter. Stop making excuses and rise to the top of caring for yourself." ~ Kristianne Wargo By taking proactive steps to nurture your well-being, you can retreat from the ripple effect of unhealthy habits and create a positive ripple effect of wellness in your life. 3523 Trust the Journey
Why rush through life where you don't even enjoy what's right in front of you? Goals and change take time. Celebrate the small victories and learn from the big mishaps. It's all an adventure, so trust the journey. In the hustle and bustle of our modern lives, it's easy to fall into the trap of rushing from one task to another, one goal to the next, without pausing to appreciate the beauty of the present moment. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co We often find ourselves so focused on the destination that we forget to enjoy the journey that leads us there. But what if we shifted our perspective and learned to trust the journey? In this fast-paced world, patience can feel like a lost virtue. We want instant results, immediate gratification, and swift success. But true growth, meaningful change, and lasting achievements take time. The K.I.S.S. ~ Trust the journey! Every step, every stumble, every detour is part of the grand adventure of life. Instead of rushing through it, let's savor each moment, each experience, each lesson learned. Author and motivational speaker, Steve Maraboli, once said, "Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations." Embrace the bumps and bruises along the way, for they are what shape us and mold us into the resilient beings we are meant to be. Celebrate the small victories β the milestones reached, the obstacles overcome, the lessons absorbed β for they pave the way for the grand triumphs that lie ahead. As we navigate the twists and turns of our individual paths, let us remember the words of poet, Rainer Maria Rilke, who said, "Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final." Trust that the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, the victories and defeats are all part of the tapestry of life that makes your journey uniquely yours. It is in the quiet moments of reflection, the tough challenges that test our resolve, and the unexpected turns that lead us to new horizons that we discover our true strength, courage, and resilience. Believe in the power of your dreams, in the impact you are destined to create, and in the limitless possibilities that await you. "Trust the journey, for within its twists and turns lies the power of transformation, the beauty of growth, and the joy of becoming the brightest expression of yourself." ~ Kristianne Wargo So, stand tall, embrace the unknown, and shine your light brightly as you navigate the adventure of a lifetime. Today is your day to trust the journey, for within it, your dreams come true. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation π Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3522 Is The Grass Greener On The Other Side?
In a world where the pursuit of happiness is often equated with constantly seeking new experiences and possessions, it's easy to fall prey to the allure of 'is the grass greener on the other side.' Well, is it? We are bombarded with images of seemingly perfect lives on social media, tempting us to chase after what we don't have rather than appreciating what we do. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co But what if the key to a fulfilling life isn't in constantly seeking novelty, but rather in cultivating contentment with what we already have? "It's easy to chase what you don't have. But what about going after what really works and not all the new shiny objects? You don't need everything to have a life well lived. But you do have to live in order to have a life," says Kristianne Wargo, a life coach and motivational speaker. What are you doing to go after your dreams? Are you constantly chasing new things? Are you trying to fit everything into one box? Are you saying yes to things that don't matter? Are you forgetting that you have the power to say no? These are questions worth pondering as we navigate the temptations of comparison and envy. Most people come to realize, perhaps a little too late, that the grass is not always greener on the other side. It's often a mirage, a perception of what we lack rather than a true reflection of what we gain. "No matter which side of grass you take, it all requires work." ~ Kristianne Wargo True happiness and fulfillment come from within, not from external circumstances or possessions. So, how do you see the green grass on your side, even if it's not really green? The K.I.S.S. ~ Treat your obstacles as opportunities! To resist the allure of the greener grass and stay focused on what truly matters, here are three things you can do: 1. Practice Gratitude: Take time each day to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life. This simple practice can shift your focus from what you lack to what you have. For example, keeping a gratitude journal or starting each day with a gratitude meditation can help cultivate a sense of abundance and contentment. Use a JOY Jar to start your day with enthusiasm. 2. Set Clear Priorities: Define what is truly important to you and align your actions with your values. By setting clear priorities, you can avoid getting caught up in chasing after fleeting desires and stay focused on what ignites your passion. For instance, if spending quality time with your loved ones is a top priority, make sure to schedule regular family activities and protect that time from distractions. 3. Cultivate Mindfulness: Practice being present in the moment and appreciating the beauty of your current surroundings. Mindfulness can help you avoid getting caught up in comparison and worrying about what others have. Instead, it allows you to fully experience and enjoy the richness of your own life. Try incorporating mindfulness practices such as deep breathing exercises or mindful walks into your daily routine. As Kristianne Wargo aptly puts it, "It's more of a perception of what you can't have, rather than what you actually get." "Stay grounded in the reality of your own life and appreciate the true beauty of the grass beneath your feet. Remember, the grass is greener where you water it." ~ Kristianne Wargo So, next time you find yourself lured by the idea of greener pastures, take a moment to pause and appreciate the lushness of your own lawn. After all, true abundance is found not in constantly seeking more, but in embracing and nurturing what you already have. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment π Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3521 Put Your YES On The Table
The gentle whisper of God's promises echoes throughout the pages of the Bible, urging you to put your YES on the table, to surrender to His will, and to trust in the path He has laid before you. But is your mind, body, and spirit ready for it? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Sometimes, we set the table for what we expect or know, leaving the possibilities buried deep within our own doubts and insecurities. But with God, anything is possible (Matthew 19:26). In a world where uncertainty seems to reign supreme, finding that comfort and confidence do not come from what you know, yet whose you are. "Walk by faith, not by sight" ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7 The K.I.S.S. ~ Put your YES on the table! In Jeremiah 29:11, it is written, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This is your reminder that God has a divine plan for you, His GPS (God's Positioning System) serving as a compass, guiding you toward a path filled with promise, purpose, passion, and presence. Walking by faith, not by sight, requires a leap of trustβa willingness to let go of our fears and doubts in exchange for God's divine guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." Choosing to put your YES on the table is an act of unwavering trust in God's plan for your life. It is an acknowledgment that His design far surpasses your own limitations and that by surrendering to His will, you open yourself up to blessings beyond measure. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, it can be easy to lose sight of the path set before us. Romans 12:2 reminds us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will isβhis good, pleasing and perfect will." Choosing to say YES to God's plan for our lives requires courage, faith, and a deep-rooted belief that His intentions for us are far greater than we could ever imagine. So, why not put your YES on the table? Show up for what God has divinely designed for you, and watch as He leads you toward a future filled with hope, purpose, and unending grace. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday π Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
