3549 Trusting God is Hard Sometimes
Why do our hearts break more than they celebrate? Why can't You answer my prayer the way I ask? Trusting God is hard sometimes; but it remains the greatest blessing here on earth. Where have you found yourself talking with God? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Begging for what He hasn't given you or thanking Him for what He has given you? Life can leave us perplexed living in a swirling attitude of entitlement that we deserve something different than what we've got. Lord, why don't You answer the way I want? Why don't You hear me the first time? As a mom, I can understand why God doesn't hear us. Because the way we want to be heard is not always what's best. Yet, we wrestle with the idea that His answers are better than ours. How can you trust God when He doesn't answer your prayers the way you want? The K.I.S.S. ~ Trusting God is hard sometimes! In the quiet moments of our lives, when we find ourselves alone with our thoughts, the hope is that we find the guidance, comfort, and understanding that we specifically want. We pray, we plead, we question. Why does it seem like our prayers go unanswered? Why doesn't God respond in the way we hope He would? We believe that we deserve a different path, a better outcome. In the corner of the shower, our tears release the hurt and pain in our hearts out to God, asking for specific answers, yearning for solutions that align with our desires. But what if His silence is a response in itself? Perhaps His plan for us is beyond what our limited vision can comprehend. As a mother, I've come to realize that sometimes not giving my children what they want is the perfect act of love. I see the bigger picture, the long-term implications, the greater good. Could this be the same for our Heavenly Father? Could His seeming silence be a way of gently guiding you toward a path that leads to your ultimate fulfillment and purpose? Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." This verse serves as a reminder that our own comprehension is limited, but God's wisdom knows no bounds. By surrendering ourselves to His will, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities that we could never have imagined. Trusting God is a journey, not a destination. It requires faith, patience, and a willingness to let go of our preconceived notions of what is best for us. It's called surrender! And that surrender involves a deep-seated belief that God's plan for you is far greater than anything you could dream of. So, in those moments of doubt and confusion, remember to listen, to discern, and to trust that God has your best interests at heart. Don't lose what God has put right in front of you! Stay entangled in His will and leave yours at the door. Find the heavenly comfort right here and right now in the knowledge that even when trusting God is hard, it is ultimately the greatest blessing you'll ever receive here on earth. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3548 How Much Do You Really Love Your Spouse?
Oftentimes, we live our lives from assumptions. But when assumptions lead the heart, that's one of the first breaks that occurs. If you want your marriage to last, how much do you really love your spouse? And does your spouse know it? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Remember, assumptions can wreck your heart, destroying precious moments and memories leaving only a pile of dust. No marriage should suffer with dust bunnies, unless it's the ones you swept under the bed. Marriage takes work, and more work than one thinks. Life is too precious, and so is your marriage. So it's about time you really love your spouse the way they deserve. The K.I.S.S. ~ Love the way your spouse deserves! 1. SHARE more than you TATTLE Communication is the bedrock of any healthy relationship. Take the time to express your feelings and thoughts to your spouse, ensuring that they know how much you value and care for them. "Being open about your feelings and thoughts allows your spouse to truly understand the depth of your love." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. SHOW more than you ASK It's easy to take our spouses for granted in the hustle and bustle of daily life. Make a conscious effort to show appreciation for even the smallest gestures. A simple 'thank you' or a surprise gesture can go a long way in making your spouse feel loved and valued. "Appreciation is the language of love that your spouse needs to hear daily." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. SPEND more than you SAVE In today's fast-paced world, quality time with our loved ones is often overlooked. Set aside dedicated time each day to connect with your spouse, whether it's sharing a meal, going for a walk, or simply sitting together and talking. Quality time strengthens the bond between partners and reinforces the foundation of love in a marriage. "Investing quality time in your marriage is like watering a plant – it thrives and grows with care and attention." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, loving your spouse is a continuous journey that requires effort and dedication. Make the conscious choice every day to really love your spouse! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3547 Footprints on Your Heart
Children leave a mark on your heart and a hole in your mind; much love with tough decisions. There is so much to teach in a few years that lasts a lifetime. Your children leave footprints on your heart. It's the indelible marks that shape who we are as parents. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co From the moment they come into our lives, they begin teaching us lessons that we never knew we needed to learn. Like I said, "Children leave a mark on your heart and a hole in your mind." They leave that impression, right, on the heart, but how we come around them and support them requires more brain power than running the International Space Center. However, as we navigate the journey of parenthood, it's essential to strike a balance between being the parent our child needs and loving them right where they're at. This challenge is real. And it's not like we only have to deal with it once in a season, like Hurricane Helene or Milton. As I'm sure you're well aware, kid's hurricanes come daily. But at the same time, your heart screams out to not "punish" or "discipline" them. Yet, what does your child really need? What if you could write your younger child-self a letter, what would tell yourself? Hugs all the time. Consistency with commitment. Boundaries that are enforced. Less digital and more physical. Your presence is required. So much of our lives are forced into what we should or should not do based on public opinion. What about what is right for your child? What if you led with loving the way your child needs to be loved? The K.I.S.S. ~ Love the way your child needs! And that means you have to know your child and know what is required for their success, not based on how you feel or what others say about how you parent or how you are as a parent. Your kiddos come first! Why would you settle for what doesn't matter? Your children, your family matter. You've got to find that balance between your head and your heart. How can you achieve this delicate equilibrium, since we're going all science today? 1. Embrace Imperfection: Parenting is a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Instead of striving for unattainable perfection, allow yourself to be imperfect. "No matter what you do, your children leave footprints on your heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo By accepting your flaws and mistakes, you set an invaluable example for your child – one that emphasizes resilience, self-compassion, and the beauty of imperfection. 2. Prioritize Self-Care: In the whirlwind of parenting responsibilities, it's easy to overlook our own needs. Yet, nurturing your mind, body, and spirit is crucial for maintaining a strong and loving connection with your child. "How can you be the parent your child needs without losing your heart in the process?" ~ Kristianne Wargo Whether it's carving out moments of solitude, engaging in activities that bring you joy, or seeking support from loved ones, prioritizing self-care enables you to show up for your child with a full and open heart. Yep--your heart is going to get stepped on. But the indelible mark you leave with them, will be greater than the initial shock. 3. Cultivate Connection Through Communication: Effective communication forms the bedrock of any relationship, including the one between parent and child. Take the time to truly listen to your child's thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment or interruption. "Remember, there is so much to teach in only a few years to last a lifetime." ~ Kristianne Wargo By fostering open and honest communication, you create a safe space where your child feels seen, heard, and valued – strengthening the bond between you and leaving space for those timeless footprints on your heart. Parenthood is a dance between guiding, nurturing, and learning from our children. It's truly about wanting to be the parents our children need while cherishing the love that they so richly deserve. "No matter what you do, your children leave footprints on your heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo Embrace those footprints, cherish the journey, and let unconditional love be the light that leaves an indelible mark on their hearts. 3546 Permission Granted
Are you giving yourself the space to do what you want to do? What you think about you bring about. So, if your thoughts are juggled, they most likely jeopardize your dreams. It's time to think like a boss; permission granted! And not just any boss, but the boss who has compassion and love for who you are and who you are becoming. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co It's not about being mean and threatening against what you can't do. It's all about knowing where you are, and making a plan to get you to where you want to go, all the while being kind and considerate to yourself with a herculean commitment. Picture this: a powerful mindset shift where you act as the boss of your aspirations. Not a tyrant, but a compassionate leader who empowers, encourages, and believes in your potential. This boss doesn't dwell on limitations but focuses on crafting a roadmap to success with unwavering determination. The K.I.S.S. ~ Permission granted! Don't mentally construct barriers by allowing doubts and insecurities to shape your decisions. This is where the inner monologue becomes a battlefield, where every thought can either catapult you forward or hold you back. It's time to free yourself from self-imposed constraints and grant permission to pursue your passions. Embrace a mindset that seeks progress over perfection, resilience over resignation, and self-love over self-doubt. Give yourself the green light to dream big, to chase those ambitions that ignite your soul. Combat the negative self-talk with a chorus of affirmations that propel you towards your goals. Remember, every successful journey begins with that first step – the step you authorize yourself to take. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo So, take a deep breath, embrace your inner boss, and let yourself witness a remarkable inward transformation that occurs when you grant yourself permission to shine. 3545 Hiding in Plain Sight
How do you do what needs to be done when it comes to healthy living? Sometimes, we think we are doing exactly what we need; however, most of the time, we miss what's hiding in plain sight. We overlook the simplest of actions we can take to change our health for the better. How can that be? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Because we want the easiest way to be healthy; not working out, eating whatever we want when we want, sleeping more than moving, drinking less and less water, etc. But this is where we miss the mark. We miss the whole idea of looking at our lifestyle from a holistic point of view. What we think about we bring about. What we eat we become. What we drink, we hydrate or dilute. How we sleep affects our energy. It's no wonder that we are exhausted when it comes to healthy living because we are doing it all wrong. Following this diet, drinking these drops, taking certain pills, etc. Whatever happened to seeing our body for what it is, a miraculous being that can heal itself (with help of medications at times), but we have to take care of ourselves. We have to do what we know is best and cut out the "ease" of wants and stick to the "needs" of our bodies. The K.I.S.S. ~ Cut out the ease and stick to the needs! 1. EMBRACE MOVEMENT What are you doing to keep your body oiled and recharged? "Movement is life. Our bodies are designed to move, not to sit idly. The joy of moving is that it keeps us alive and vibrant." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. NOURISH MINDFULLY What are you doing to fuel your body with the correct foods for you? "Your body is your temple. What you put in it directly correlates to what you get out of it. Choose foods that nourish your body, mind, and spirit." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. PRIORITIZE REST AND RECOVERY How much rest and recovery do you give your body? "Resting is not a sign of weakness; it's a sign of wisdom. Your body and mind need time to recharge and repair. Make quality sleep a priority." ~ Kristianne Wargo Remember, healthy living is not about shortcuts or quick fixes; it's an ongoing journey that requires dedication and conscious effort. By recognizing what's hiding in plain sight and taking simple yet powerful steps, you can truly transform your health and well-being. "Be present. Be incredible. 3543 Wipeout Worry
Life cannot be enjoyed and experienced if all you think about is what might happen. Can't becomes your first name because there is no other way to see what can happen. You have to plan for what you know won't happen. Wipeout worry! That's not living the way God intended for you to live. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co No! Life is still not what you expected. But how you choose to respond to life as it comes at you grants you peace, a freedom that gives you permission to smile even in the depths of struggles and troubles. Worry is a formidable foe that robs us of joy, peace, and the ability to fully embrace life's goodness. Living in a constant state of worry is like carrying an unnecessary burden that weighs us down. Living a life consumed by worry can have profound effects on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, as well as on our relationships and overall quality of life. 1. Mental and Emotional Strain: - Constant rumination: Worrying individuals often find themselves caught in a cycle of overthinking and dwelling on worst-case scenarios, leading to heightened anxiety and stress. - Lack of peace: Worry can create a persistent sense of unease and restlessness, making it difficult to experience moments of tranquility and contentment. - Negative thought patterns: Worry tends to fuel negative thought patterns, fostering a pessimistic outlook on life and undermining one's self-confidence. 2. Physical Symptoms: - Insomnia and fatigue: Excessive worry can disrupt sleep patterns, leading to insomnia and fatigue, which further exacerbate stress levels and impact overall energy levels. - Muscle tension and headaches: Chronic worry can manifest physically through muscle tension, headaches, and other somatic symptoms, as the body responds to prolonged stress. - Digestive issues: The gut-brain connection means that worry can contribute to digestive issues such as stomach pain, diarrhea, or acid reflux, as stress impacts the gastrointestinal system. 3. Impaired Decision-Making: - Analysis paralysis: Worry can paralyze individuals from making decisions, as they become overly focused on potential risks and outcomes, leading to indecision and missed opportunities. - Overly cautious behavior: Worrying individuals may adopt a hyper-vigilant approach in an attempt to mitigate perceived threats, which can result in avoidance behavior and limit personal growth. 4. Strained Relationships: - Lack of presence: When consumed by worry, individuals may struggle to be fully present in their interactions, leading to strained relationships and feelings of disconnect with loved ones. - Need for reassurance: Constant reassurance-seeking behavior can strain relationships, as individuals rely on others to alleviate their worries rather than developing internal coping mechanisms. - Communication challenges: Worry can impact communication patterns, leading to misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and difficulty expressing thoughts and emotions clearly. 5. Social Isolation: - Withdrawal from activities: Worry can lead individuals to withdraw from social gatherings, hobbies, or experiences that might trigger anxiety, resulting in isolation and a sense of disconnection from the world. - Fear of judgment: Worrying individuals may avoid social interactions due to a fear of judgment or criticism, further reinforcing feelings of loneliness and isolation. - Limited growth opportunities: Social isolation resulting from worry can hinder personal growth, as it restricts exposure to new perspectives, experiences, and relationships that facilitate learning and development. Overall, living a life consumed by worry can manifest in various ways, impacting not only our mental and emotional well-being but also our physical health, decision-making abilities, relationships, and social connections. How does worry show up in your life? Recognizing the signs of excessive worry and implementing strategies to address and overcome it is vital in cultivating a life of peace, resilience, and fulfillment. The K.I.S.S. ~ Wipeout worry! 1. TRUST IN GOD'S PLAN Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." Worry often stems from a lack of trust in God's plan for our lives. By surrendering our fears and anxieties to Him, we can find comfort in knowing that He holds our future in His hands. Trusting in God's wisdom and timing allows us to release the need for control and embrace the peace that comes from knowing that He is in control. Real-Life Example: When faced with uncertainties about the future, instead of allowing worry to consume us, we can choose to trust in God's faithfulness. By seeking His guidance through prayer and meditating on His promises, we can find reassurance that He has a perfect plan for our lives. "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength." - Corrie ten Boom 2. PRACTICE GRATITUDE 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Gratitude is a powerful antidote to worry, as it shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance of blessings that surround us. By cultivating a heart of thankfulness, we can find joy in the present moment and trust that God will provide for our needs. Real-Life Example: Keeping a gratitude journal and reflecting on the ways God has been faithful in the past can help us maintain a positive perspective, even in the face of challenges. By counting our blessings and acknowledging God's goodness, we can cultivate a spirit of contentment that diminishes worry. "Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained." - Arthur Somers Roche 3. SEEK SUPPORT & COMMUNITY Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 - "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." God designed us for community, knowing that we thrive in fellowship with others who can support and encourage us. When facing worries and struggles, seeking the companionship of fellow believers can provide strength and comfort. Real-Life Example: Engaging in a small group or seeking wise counsel from a mentor can offer perspective and guidance during times of uncertainty. Sharing our burdens with trusted friends who can offer prayer and support can lighten the load of worry and remind us that we are not alone. "Don't let worry rent space in your mind when it was meant to be filled with peace and joy." - Kristianne Wargo Wiping out worry requires a conscious effort to trust in God's plan, practice gratitude, and seek support from a loving community. By anchoring our hearts in faith, cultivating thankfulness, and embracing the strength of unity, we can overcome the grip of worry and step into the abundant life that God has promised us. Life is still not what you expected, but how you choose to respond to life as it comes at you grants you peace, a freedom that gives you permission to smile even in the depths of struggles and troubles. Wipeout worry and embrace the fullness of God's grace and love. "Be present. Be incredible. 3542 Fear Not
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 In the midst of life's storms, it's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed and isolated. The weight of our struggles can often make us feel as though we're carrying that burden alone, with very little support to lean on. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Luke 24:38 -- He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Do you really think God wants you to suffer? Be honest when you answer this. Your honesty will bring about your freedom. You don't want to hide things. You don't want to struggle in silence. In times like these, it can be challenging to rely on our faith and trust that God is watching over us. A lot of times, we revert to our own vices to "deal" with the fear we're facing. But take heart, for you are not alone in your struggles. The Bible reminds us of God's unwavering presence and promise to be by our side through thick and thin. The K.I.S.S. ~ Fear not! In Isaiah 41:10, we are reminded, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." These words serve as a powerful assurance that God is always there, ready to provide us with the strength and support we need to weather life's challenges. Psalm 23:4 ~ "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." God walks beside you through your darkest moments, offering you comfort and guidance along the way. "Fear may fill our world, but it does not need to fill your heart!" ~ Kristianne Wargo "God has not given us the spirit of fear." ~ 2 Timothy 1:7 It's important to remember that leaning on God doesn't mean we won't face difficulties or hardships. Instead, it means placing our trust in Him and knowing that regardless of our circumstances, God has already gone before us and has a plan for our lives. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed and alone in your struggles, take comfort in knowing that God is with you always. Lean on His strength, trust in His plan, and know that you are never truly alone. Fear not, for you are loved, protected, and guided by God, who will never leave you nor forsake you. As Max Lucado said, "The promise of Christ is simple: we can fear less tomorrow than we do today!" Oh, my friend, do life with God today! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3541 Building A Love That Endures
Life can be so unfair, but at the same time, it can be beautiful. If couples understand how building a love that endures will strengthen their marriage, then they will be able to rise stronger together through tough times. Why is it that our relationships take tension to be strengthened? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Tension in relationships is like a crucible in which love is forged and tested. Without challenges, there can be no growth. Embracing tension can lead to deeper understanding and appreciation for one another. What can couples do to become better together with the tension so it can strengthen their marriage and not derail it? When faced with tension, couples can choose to communicate openly and honestly, practice empathy and understanding, and work as a team to overcome obstacles. By viewing challenges as opportunities for growth, couples can turn tension into a catalyst for building a love that endures. The K.I.S.S. ~ Turn tension into a catalyst for building a love that endures! Do you remember the science experiment with Mentos? You put the mentos into a Coca-cola bottle and watched it what? Erupt!! Think about the tension as being the mentos. The more you put in, the greater the explosion. Which, as a science experiment, that's FABULOUS!! But as a relationship to stick, hmmmm-- not so much! So, what can you do to turn tension into a catalyst that builds up? 1. Communication and Transparency: As a couple, you can strengthen your bond by prioritizing open and honest communication, even when discussing difficult topics. For example, instead of avoiding a disagreement about household responsibilities, partners can openly express their feelings and viewpoints, actively listen to each other, and work together to find a mutually beneficial solution. Sharing fears, dreams, and vulnerabilities can deepen emotional intimacy and build trust in the relationship. "Love is not just about the good times; it's about weathering the storms together and emerging stronger as a couple." - Kristianne Wargo 2. Empathy and Understanding: Empathy plays a pivotal role in navigating tensions within a relationship. Couples can practice putting themselves in their partner's shoes to better understand their perspective, feelings, and needs. For instance, when one partner is stressed due to work pressures, the other can empathize by offering support, listening without judgment, and offering to help with tasks. By showing empathy and understanding, you can strengthen your emotional connection and foster a sense of unity amidst challenges. "In the midst of challenges, couples have a unique opportunity to deepen their connection and reinforce their commitment to each other." - Kristianne Wargo 3. Collaboration and Growth Mindset: Viewing tension as an opportunity for growth and collaboration can empower couples to overcome obstacles together. Rather than placing blame or becoming defensive during conflicts, couples can approach challenges with a growth mindset. For instance, if financial struggles arise, partners can work together to create a budget, set financial goals, and support each other in making necessary adjustments. By embracing challenges as a chance to learn, adapt, and grow as a team, couples can cultivate resilience and fortify their love for the long haul. "True strength in a relationship comes from facing challenges head-on and choosing to grow together rather than apart." - Kristianne Wargo By incorporating these practices into their relationship, couples can navigate tensions, strengthen their connection, and build a love that endures through all of life's trials and triumphs. "Embrace the tension in your relationship as an opportunity for growth and connection; it's not a distraction, but an attraction that can strengthen your love beyond measure." - Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
