3937 Put the "Parent" Back in Parenting

Too many parents today are caught chasing the mirage of "being friends" with their kids — seeking approval and camaraderie instead of stepping fully into their role as parents. Let's be blunt: parenting isn't about winning a popularity contest. It's about showing up as the adults who love fiercely, set firm boundaries, and deliver discipline that actually sticks. If you want your children to thrive and leave a lasting impact on the world, you must put the "parent" back in parenting. Why Parents Must Parent, Not "Friend" Friendship with your kids can seem like an easy, feel-good shortcut, but it's a trap. When parents try to be friends, they soften rules, dilute consequences, and avoid hard conversations — all in the name of "keeping peace." The problem? Kids crave guidance and structure. Left without clear leadership, they'll wrestle to find footing in a world that demands accountability and grit. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The core duty of a parent is crystal clear: love your children unconditionally, hold them accountable with clear boundaries, and discipline with intention so lessons don't fade with time. That discipline isn't punishment — it's training for life. How to Reclaim Your Role as Parent Getting back to basics isn't complicated, but it demands that parents get honest about where their attention is and how they engage with their kids: Put the Phone Down, Look Up You can't parent well if your eyes and mind are glued to a screen. Make a conscious effort to unplug when you're around your children. See what they're doing, notice their mood shifts, and recognize their daily battles. Presence is the foundation of influence. Reclaim the Dinner Table The dinner table is more than a place to eat; it's a prime spot for connection. Use it to listen — really listen — to what your children are telling you about their lives. Resist the urge to interrupt, correct, or fill the silence. Ask open-ended questions that invite sharing. Ask, Don't Assume Jumping to conclusions or putting words in your child's mouth kills trust. Instead, ask sincere questions about how they feel and what they think. Reflect back what you hear to show you're paying attention — no agendas, no filters. The K.I.S.S. ~ Put the "parent" back in parenting! Now it may seem impossible, but truly, it is not impossible! You can be the parent you have been called to be, not by your own strength, but because of the heart God gave you. The best thing you can do is be open to what will make the difference for your children in the long run. The short run might be a little challenging, but you are stronger and can be the best parent you want to be. Three Bold Moves Parents Can Make to Raise Impactful Kids Set Non-Negotiable Boundaries Kids need guardrails — not because you want to control them, but because the world outside your home is full of risks. Define clear rules around behavior, screen time, respect, and responsibility. Consistency here is non-negotiable. Use Discipline as a Teaching Moment Discipline isn't about punishment; it's about imprinting important life lessons so your child internalizes right from wrong. Make consequences logical, appropriate to their personalities and life stages, timely, and connected to the behavior. And follow through every time; consistency is the key. Flaky discipline breeds chaos. Build Daily Rituals of Connection Whether it's a quick check-in before bedtime or weekend walks, build habits that strengthen your relationship. These aren't just feel-good moments — they're investments in your child's emotional and spiritual foundation. Becoming a Parent Who Leaves a Legacy Being a good parent happens naturally enough — you love your kids and want the best. But being a great parent who leaves an indelible mark on your child's heart and mind requires grit: dedication, resilience, and relentless perseverance. It means choosing hard truths over easy comfort every day. So ask yourself: Will this year be a year where you just show up, or will it be the year you double down on what really matters? Your children's futures, their confidence, and their ability to affect the world depend on you being the parent they deserve — not just their friend. Make it count. Make the lessons stick. Be the parent who raises not just a child, but a living legacy who will go out and impact the world that they touch. "Be present. Be incredible. 3936 Live Fully Alive

Oftentimes, we push ourselves at breakneck speed—racing to check boxes, chasing the next big win, believing that if we just move faster, work harder, and try more, success will finally land in our lap. But as John De Paola said, "Slow down, and everything you are chasing will come around and catch you." In a world obsessed with hustle, this is not a call for complacency. It's an invitation to step off the relentless carousel and rediscover the power of intentional living; live fully alive! Too many of us tie ourselves to the chains of past failures, letting every missed shot dictate what we pursue next. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The misconception is that success hides only in the unexplored, the unfamiliar, and the untried. Ironically, this chase often leaves us exhausted and disillusioned—burnt out by the pace yet no closer to our goals. But what if you gave yourself permission to slow down? What if instead of grinding harder, you paused long enough to take stock? Imagine the freedom to experiment, to win and lose without fear, without letting setbacks define your journey. Imagine clearing the clutter from your mind and heart to see what is truly possible, right here, right now. Create your now! The K.I.S.S. ~ Live fully alive! The start of a new year is the perfect moment for this kind of reset—not by setting rigid rules about what you can't do, but by making space to let go of what hasn't worked and embracing what might. This isn't about less ambition; it's about smarter ambition. It's about trusting that your goals will meet you when you slow down enough to focus, refine, and prepare. You are created for more. Settling for less is a choice, not a destiny. The paradox to all of this: slowing down might be exactly what you need to accelerate your progress. Slow down to speed up. So take a deep breath, clear the noise, and show up for yourself with intention. Everything you're chasing isn't a moving target—it's waiting patiently for you to catch up. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3935 Winning the Wrong Race

Every New Year, millions write down the same resolution: lose weight, get healthy, finally take control of their lives. Yet, by spring, those goals often wilt like forgotten gym memberships. Why? Because too often, we're winning the wrong race. Bad habits are the easy path. They require no thought, no discomfort, no extra effort. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com You don't have to wrestle with tough choices or push through resistance. You just do what you've always done — reach for convenience, skip the workout, indulge the craving. And as a result, everything you say you want slips further from reach. That's the wrong race. Racing toward temporary fixes while ignoring what really drives lasting change. Living fully alive isn't about hitting some number on a scale or squeezing into last year's jeans. It demands deliberate, confident decisions and pulling your weight in the long haul. That hard work is exactly where most stumble. Life's daily chaos throws distractions your way, and it's tempting to retreat to what's easy. But what if you could refuse the easy path? What if you could break free from the habitual trap and live fully alive — on your terms? The K.I.S.S. ~ Live fully alive! Ultimately, isn't that what it's all about — feeling fully alive? Because if you continue self-sabotaging your efforts or making excuses for your bad habits, you are going to stay confined within the old habitual habits that cause you to fail more. You can do better!! However, you must make some changes to live fully alive. Here are three moves to reset your race and claim real health beyond the scale: Define health as vitality, not just weight. Stop obsessing about pounds lost or calories burned. Instead, zero in on how you feel: more energy, clearer mind, stronger body, better sleep. When your focus shifts from a number to a state of being, motivation deepens. You want to feel alive, not just lighter. You're gaining what matters and losing what doesn't in the long run. Choose one habit to master before adding more. Trying to overhaul your entire life overnight is a surefire shortcut to burnout. Pick the one habit that will move the needle most — drinking more water, walking 15 minutes a day, cutting out sugary drinks — and nail it with stubborn consistency. Once that becomes automatic, layer the next. Success builds momentum. But remember, success comes in little steps with greater impact. Own your why, daily. Why do you want health? For your kids, your career, your confidence, your future? Keep that reason front and center every single day. When your why is bigger than your cravings or excuses, your hard work feels purposeful instead of painful. Remember, the race you want to win isn't against some external standard or the scale — it's against the old habits that keep you stuck. It's about gaining your health back in a way that sticks. You want the sticky stuff to be the right stuff. The right race demands patience, persistence, and a refusal to settle for "good enough." This year, don't just write down a resolution. Choose to win the right race. Make every choice count toward feeling fully alive, no matter what the scale says. Because now, you're ready to win the right race! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3934 Quit Waiting for a Guarantee

Life doesn't hand out guarantees. No matter how much you want a smooth ride or a sure win, it simply doesn't work that way. Success, growth, and reaching your goals come from one thing above all else—intention. How you think, decide, and act every single day shapes whether you make it across the finish line. So quit waiting for a guarantee. When you're chasing something brand new—whether it's launching a business, changing careers, or mastering a skill—there's no autopilot. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Waiting for the perfect moment or wishing for a guarantee is a fast track to nowhere. Instead, you have to get sharp and stay intentional. Every thought you entertain, every decision you make, every move you take must be purposeful. This isn't about luck or magic; it's about deliberately building momentum one step at a time. Intentionality is not only about doing the big, sexy moves. It's downright tempting to just focus on the hard stuff, but it's the consistent grind of doing the easy stuff that builds your resilience and drive. Showing up daily and choosing actions that align with your goal—even when motivation dips—is what separates finishers from quitters. The K.I.S.S. ~ Quit waiting for a guarantee! Think of it like building muscle. You don't add pounds overnight; you start with manageable reps and grow stronger over time. Also, your mental strength and determination develop through regular practice of intentionality. This consistent practice trains your mind to keep pushing forward when the path gets rough and the results aren't instant. Quit waiting for a guarantee because there isn't one. Instead, get clear on what you want and commit to being intentional every day. Control your thoughts, make wise choices, and stay relentless in your actions. When setbacks come (and they will), rely on the muscle you built through steady intentionality. Keep going, keep learning, and don't stop doing the easy stuff that builds your foundation. No one crosses the finish line without putting in the work—without being intentional. Your results won't be handed to you. They'll be earned, one deliberate step at a time. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3933 How Grief Affects Your Mindset

Grief isn't just about losing a loved one. It's a full-body, mind-consuming response to any meaningful loss: a job, a home, a relationship, a dream gone sideways. If you don't understand how grief rewires your mindset, it can trap you in a mental box where all you see is what's broken—and how far you are from climbing out of that dark hole. When you understand how grief affects your mindset, you get why you're paralyzed, stuck replaying the what, why, and how over and over, missing the possibility of what's next. So let's get real: grief is brutal, disorienting, and exhausting. Science and psychology confirm that grief triggers massive shifts in our brain chemistry and cognitive patterns, clouding judgment, sapping motivation, and amplifying negative thinking. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Studies show the mind under grief can experience heightened anxiety, trouble focusing, and a pervasive sense of hopelessness. That's why grief can feel like a cage—it hijacks your mental resources, making it nearly impossible to envision a future beyond the loss. But here's the catch: grief is a process, not a permanent state. The depth of the pain doesn't have to define how far you fall or how long you stay down. You can honor the grieving process without letting it swallow you whole. The key is learning how grief shapes your mindset and taking actionable steps to prevent it from overruling your entire life. How Grief Messes with Your Mindset Narrowed Focus on Loss: Your brain gets stuck zooming in on the loss and what you can't change. This tunnel vision blocks out new opportunities and solutions. Slowed Cognitive Processing: The emotional weight distracts your brain's executive function, making decision-making and problem-solving feel overwhelming. Heightened Negative Bias: Your brain goes into a "threat" mode, causing you to focus on risks and downsides rather than potential gains. Erosion of Motivation: Feeling depleted and sad drains your energy to take action or chase goals. Disturbed Sense of Identity: When dreams or roles disappear, you can stumble into an identity crisis, unsure who you are or what you want moving forward. The Hidden Grief Behind Losses Beyond Death Losing a job, relationship, or home can trigger grief just like losing a person. These losses are wrapped in shattered security, unstable plans, and broken trust. Your mind cries out, but often silently, because society tells us to "move on" from these losses faster than grief naturally fades. That denial only deepens the mindset trap. At some point, you need to rise up and prevent grief from hijacking your mindset while still honoring it. The K.I.S.S. ~ Hijack your mindset! 3 Ways to Prevent Grief from Hijacking Your Mindset — While Still Honoring It Set Boundaries with Your Grief: It's okay to feel devastated, but don't let your mind camp out there 24/7. Schedule "grief time" where you allow yourself to feel and process—then shift your focus to small, actionable steps in your day. For example, journal your pain for 20 minutes, then outline one micro-goal you can do right after. Reframe Your Mindset With Empowering Beliefs: Grief feeds on fixed thinking ("I'm broken forever," "Nothing will get better"). Actively challenge those thoughts. Remind yourself, "This is painful, but it is temporary," and, "I am more than my loss." Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) studies show this shifting perspective rewires the brain's response to trauma and loss. Anchor Yourself in Daily Meaningful Action: Moving feet forward counts more than waiting to "feel ready." Consistent small wins—whether a walk, a call to a friend, or starting a creative project—build momentum and counteract paralysis. Movement shakes up the brain's stagnant grief loops, creating room for hope and healing. This Too Shall Pass — But Only If You Move Grief is rarely a straight line, and it will knock you down hard. But lurking in that darkness is the chance to rebuild stronger, wiser, and clearer. You're made for more than surviving loss—you're made for living beyond it. Let your heart have room to mourn. But don't get cozy there. Your dreams deserve air. Your mind deserves freedom. Your future deserves you showing up—ready, restless, and ready to rise. Remember this: grief doesn't own your story. It's just a chapter. And the next chapter is waiting for you to start writing it. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3932 Stand Firm on God's Holy Ground

Walking in step with God is never a passive journey, especially when the world around you seems determined to pull you off course. Jealousy, deceit, and manipulation are real weapons some wield to fracture your spirit and cloud your vision. When hearts turn bitter and minds play cruel games, it's easy to get trapped inside a warped reality that feels impossible to escape. So how do you hold your ground in these moments? How do you fight this spiritual battle without losing your soul? Stand firm on God's Holy ground. You must begin to recognize the battlefield beyond the visible, only what you can see. And then understand that the conflict isn't just earthly—it's spiritual. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Ephesians 6:12 warns us, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." When people lash out, driven by jealousy or their own brokenness, they're often unwitting instruments of a deeper darkness. Your fight isn't against them personally but against the evil trying to undermine your faith and purpose. Cling to God's Truth, Not Their Lies It's tempting to absorb every whisper, every shadow of doubt they cast on your character or calling. But remember Jesus' words in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." The truth isn't shaped by gossip, envy, or manipulation—it's rooted in God's word and your identity as His child. When the world distorts reality, anchor yourself in scripture. David's story shows us how to respond. Saul's jealousy reached dangerous heights; he hunted David relentlessly, though David was innocent and chosen by God to be king (1 Samuel 18-26). Yet David didn't retaliate with bitterness or deceit. Instead, he trusted God, avoided unnecessary conflict, and waited for God's timing. His heart remained pure through prayer and reliance on God's justice, not man's. The K.I.S.S. ~ Stand firm on God's Holy ground! Guard Your Heart, But Don't Harden It Proverbs 4:23 says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Protecting your spirit means you don't absorb or reflect the toxic attitudes around you. Yet guarding doesn't mean closing off. It means staying tender to God's leading while discerning who and what you let influence your mindset. When Jesus faced false accusations and betrayal, He didn't respond with violence or bitterness; He showed grace and kept His mission clear (Luke 23:34). That doesn't mean you tolerate abuse or manipulation, but that you maintain your own integrity and compassion even when attacked. Pray for those who seek to derail you—that's your power move. Fight With Weapons God Gives You Paul instructs believers in Ephesians 6 to take up the full armor of God: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God. These aren't metaphorical niceties—they're your spiritual tools for standing firm. When your environment is hostile, saturate yourself in prayer, scripture, and the fellowship of believers who reinforce your faith. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Resist deception and discouragement by submitting fully to God's guidance. Remember that spiritual battles are won in moments of surrender, not struggle. Remember Your Identity and God's Purpose The pain inflicted by others can make you question your worth or mission. But God's plan is bigger than their interference. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Holding on to that promise gives perspective beyond the current storm. Jesus warned, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). When you walk with Him, you walk as a conqueror, not a victim. Your Next Step Don't let the jealousy and confusion around you steal your momentum or your peace. Stand firm by anchoring deeply in God's word, guarding your heart without bitterness, and wielding His armor daily. The spiritual battle is tough and often invisible, but your victory is assured when you refuse to be derailed by people's faults and choose God's path instead. You're not alone in this fight—God goes before you. His light pierces the darkest schemes. Keep walking, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. That's how you win. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3931 Dream Bigger Together

The new year brings that electric buzz of new beginnings and fresh possibilities. When you're married to your person—the one you dream about and build life with—it only makes sense to dream bigger together. Because, really, who wouldn't want a richer, more exciting life for themselves and their spouse? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But here's the truth: It's easy to fall into the trap of "we've always done it this way." And sure—that's comfortable. Maybe even safe. But if you want to go beyond the status quo, if you want more out of this life you're building together, those same old dreams won't get you there. So why not dream bigger as a team? Simply put—you're better together. Let's stop letting the new year's magnificent magic slip through the cracks. Aim higher. Dream wider. Shoot for something you've never gone after before. When married partners dream big and are in sync, everything changes. The energy shifts. You create momentum that neither of you could have mustered alone. It's the time to create your now and dream bigger together! The K.I.S.S. ~ Dream bigger together! And that means you are doing it together!! It might sound weird to say that, but when all you do is what you've done, you must be intentional about what needs to change in how you live your life together. And that's the key: living life together! You cannot dream the life you want to live if you don't do it together; otherwise, it's only your dream. Here are 3 powerful moves you can make right now to dream bigger together—and make this new year your best yet: 1. Share Your Wildest Dreams Out Loud (No Judgment Allowed) Forget what's reasonable for a moment. What would you dream if you knew you couldn't fail? Drop the sensible, practical masks and get real. Then share those dreams with your spouse—no criticism, no shutting down, only curiosity and encouragement. When you put your dreams into words, they become real. And when you lay them side-by-side, you'll find common ground, overlap, and unexpected new ideas. This raw honesty builds connection and opens the door to bigger possibilities. 2. Pick One Bold Goal To Chase as a Team It's tempting to try to tackle 10 things at once, but dreams expand way faster when you focus. So get laser-focused. Agree on one big goal that excites both of you—something that lights a fire in your hearts and pushes your limits. Whether it's saving for a dream home, starting a business, or training for a marathon—having a shared target aligns your efforts and energy, fuels daily action, and keeps you accountable to each other. This is when dreams become your reality. 3. Create a Dream Ritual to Keep the Momentum Dreams don't turn into reality by accident. They need regular attention. Set a monthly or quarterly "dream date" where you review your progress, celebrate wins, adjust goals, and dream even bigger. This ritual keeps your partnership sharp and motivated. It makes dreaming a constant priority, not just a New Year's resolution that fades by February, or earlier. The big secret? Your marriage isn't what holds back your dreams—it's the very thing that can launch them into orbit. When you dream bigger together, you don't just add value to your marriage—you multiply your chances of living a life most only wish for. So, no more solo resolutions. No more settling for "good enough." This year, make a pact with your spouse: To dream big. To support each other relentlessly. To chase something worth getting up for every day. Because your biggest, boldest dreams are always done better together. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3930 Intentional Parenting that Moves Mountains

Every new year brings a fresh chance to hit the reset button — including how you show up as a parent. But let's be real: parenting is hard, exhausting, and often thankless. If you coast through it, thinking your kids will "figure it out," you're setting everyone up for frustration and chaos. Kids need more than just food and shelter; they need consistent guidance, love, and boundaries; it's intentional parenting that moves mountains. Because when you slack off, what you get is exactly what you put in — kids who push limits, test boundaries, and fill the void left by absent parenting. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's easy to slip into complacency. Maybe it's been a long day, or your schedule feels relentless. Maybe you convince yourself that letting kids "run free" is healthy or that they just need space to express themselves. But here's the truth: unchecked freedom without clear limits is a breeding ground for problems. It's not love or respect to let them run wild; it's neglect disguised as kindness. Parenting with intention doesn't mean you have to be perfect or never tired. It means showing up consistently with unconditional love, firm boundaries, attentive teaching, and yes, forgiveness when mistakes happen — for both them and yourself. The K.I.S.S. ~ Parent intentionally! So if you want your kids to grow into adults who impact the world in a meaningful way, here are three no-excuses moves every parent can make — even on the rough days: Set Clear Boundaries and Follow Through Boundaries aren't about control; they're about safety and structure. When kids know the line and see you consistently enforce it, they gain a sense of security and learn responsibility. Maybe it's screen time limits, chores, or manners at the dinner table — whatever it is, be firm, clear, and consistent. If you say no, mean no. When boundaries are shaky, so is their confidence and respect for rules. Invest Daily Time to Teach and Connect Quality time isn't just about being in the same room. It's about focused, intentional moments. You don't need an hour; ten minutes of undivided attention can change the day. Teach them something — how to tie a shoe, handle frustration, or make wise choices. Ask open questions and listen. This is how you build trust and teach life skills that stick long after childhood. Forgive Fast — But Don't Excuse Bad Behavior Mistakes will happen. You will slip up, and so will your kids. When they mess up, hold them accountable—but always with grace. A parent who forgives and follows through teaches resilience and humility. And don't forget to forgive yourself. Parenting fatigue is real; but giving yourself grace means you'll show up stronger tomorrow. At the end of the day, the energy and effort you pour into your parenting show up in your child's character and the living legacy they create. Lazy parenting might look easier now, but it costs far more in the long run — as you trade real influence for temporary peace. This new year, commit to the hard stuff. Show up. Set limits. Connect. Forgive. Because what you put in now is what you — and your child — will get out forever. No shortcuts, no excuses. Just real, intentional parenting that moves mountains. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3929 The Best Is Yet To Come

The first day of a new year holds something rare—a stillness amid the noise, a quiet space where hope and possibility stretch out like an open road. It's a day wrapped in excitement but tinged with uncertainty. The unknowns can flip the script, spin your stomach, and test your courage. But here's the beautiful, unshakable truth: The best is yet to come. You might hear this phrase a ton. But it's not just a feel-good phrase. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's a call to show up with presence, grace, and fierce faith. Presence grounds you in the here and now, turning every moment—whether filled with calm or chaos—into a stepping stone toward what's next. Grace reminds you that you don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to be perfect. You just have to be willing. The New Year invites you to quiet reflection, pure clarity, and resilience. It demands determination rooted in a deep knowing that nothing is impossible when God's divine plan is at work. That plan moves through you—but only if you're willing to answer the call. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~ Jeremiah 29:11 The K.I.S.S. ~ The best is yet to come! This means showing up daily. Putting in the time. Doing the work you were created for. The breakthroughs, the progress, the miracles—they're waiting on the other side of your commitment. But don't rush. Rest now. Rejuvenate. Let your soul catch its breath. Today, at this precise moment, marks the beginning of the trip of a lifetime—one that leads to all the things that matter most. So, take this day as a gift. Lean into the presence you carry. Let grace guide your steps forward. Your best isn't behind you. It's proudly standing just ahead, ready for you to claim it. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo From my family to yours - Have a healthy, blessed, and healthy new year!! "Be present. Be incredible. 3928 What If Forward Progress Requires Forgiveness?

Every New Year arrives heavy with promises! However, let's be honest, you've gotta fair share of frustration, too. For millions, those well-meaning resolutions quickly unravel, leaving behind guilt and the familiar cycle of "I failed again." But the harsh truth is that pushing yourself to "fix" every flaw with iron willpower only sets up a battle you can't win long-term. So what if forward progress requires forgiveness in your healthy living? Well-being doesn't emerge from beating yourself into a different person. Yet all too often, that's exactly the approach New Year's resolutions demand: a hard reset, a checklist of drastic changes. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com This approach misses a vital element—what if forward progress actually requires forgiveness? Forgiveness breaks the cycle of self-sabotage. It shifts the narrative from enemy territory—where you fight against yourself—to a place of internal kindness and trust. It's not about excuse-making; it's about opening the door to real possibility by becoming your own ally. "When you forgive the stumbles, you make space for momentum to grow rather than crumble under the weight of shame." ~ Kristianne Wargo Here's a better way forward rooted in compassion and consistency: The K.I.S.S. ~ Root yourself in compassion and consistency! Here's a better way forward rooted in compassion and consistency: Commit to small, sustainable habits. Forget drastic leaps. Pick tiny, daily actions you can maintain—a glass of water first thing, a 5-minute stretch, a mindful breath. These wins build quietly but powerfully. Build your tribe. Accountability isn't punishment; it's connection. Find a friend, coach, or community to walk beside you—someone who holds you accountable with encouragement, not judgment. Give yourself grace for setbacks. Slips aren't failure; they're proof you're trying. Forgiving yourself means facing the pause, learning what pushed you off track, and gently choosing to carry forward. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Your wellness journey is part of that plan, designed not for perfection but for thriving. Take Sammie's example. Years of broken resolutions crushed her optimism until she embraced small habits—daily walks and nightly healthy snacks—and invited a friend into her journey. When setbacks hit, she forgave herself instead of spiraling. The result? Energy returned, joy resurfaced, and progress stuck. "Wellness needs to be sticky for transformation to occur." ~ Kristianne Wargo Wellness isn't about becoming someone else overnight. It's about loving who you are becoming—mind, body, and spirit—through discipline tempered by forgiveness. So here's the question you can't dodge: What bold, forgiving step will you take today to honor your whole self? Make it real. Make it consistent. Make it yours. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
