Master them all, and you’ll be optimizing your life with a bulletproof mindset and a bounty of internally-generated joy and satisfaction. The seven categories are (in order of importance) vitality-energy, mindset motivation, time and productivity, relationships, career and mission, wealth and lastly, legacy/impact and purpose. In this episode, we’ll talk through each of these categories. Tune in to discover:Tips for creating a high energy state in the morning to fuel you for the dayHow to avoid what I call “hedonic adaptation”Strategies for gaining control of your time and maximizing productivityOnce you’ve mastered the first few categories, then you can move on to deeper questions, like understanding your true mission on earth. Prime Years and the Pain of Regret
Many of us live our lives assuming that ‘one day’ we will have time to do the things we’ve always dreamed of. Travel the world. Learn a new language. Pursue a passion. The reality is that unless you’re making the most of your prime years between the ages of 25 and 65, there’s a good chance you will experience one of the most devastating emotions there is - the pain of regret. In this episode of Limitless MD, I talk about facing these facts with a plan, instead of fear or avoidance. Number one: get clarity on what your life goals, your family goals and your ‘bucket list’ pursuits are. The time to take steps to avoid the pain of regret is now. If you have the sneaky feeling that you’re not shining as brightly as you could be, this episode is for you. “Don’t go to your grave without singing your song. Die on empty.” - Dr. Vikram RayaIn This Episode:- Welcome back to another episode of the Limitless MD podcast- The years between 25 and 65 are the most critical- If you’re not working in alignment with your vision, you’ll die with regrets- You want to die on empty, without unfinished projects inside you- Make time for what brings you joy- Income brings you choice, so make as much as you can, while helping others along the way Resources Mentioned: - “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Tim FerrisResources: - Join our Free community of high-performing physicians: the Physician Wealth Accelerator- https://vikramraya.com/programs/ - Sign up to my email list- Apply to work with Vik and book a clarity call here- Group Coaching Now Open! The Power of Saying “No”
To become the best in the world at something - whatever your niche - takes razor-sharp focus. This means saying “no” to everything that can distract you from your goal. This podcast episode is about something very personal for me, something I’ve learned the hard way. I can tell you from my own experience that saying “yes” to the wrong things can lead you down some very expensive rabbit holes. By saying “no”, you can instead steer your precious energy towards the ‘yes’ that will lead you to success. Sometimes, saying “no” means turning down six-figure opportunities - so that you can focus on the seven-figure opportunities. As you move through your career and towards the life of your dreams, remember, your power lies in your clarity: focus, focus, focus. “Go weird before you go wide.” - Dr. Vikram RayaIn This Episode:- The more successful you get, the more you have to say “no”- A real world example of how saying “yes” to everything was an expensive mistake for my company, Viking Capital- The more niche you get, the easier it is to market yourself or your product- By focusing on one niche market, you can limit the competition- Complexity is the enemy of execution: keep it simple- In the first half of our life, we are in hustle mode; in the second half of our life, we need to get into flow mode- Avoid new projects until you reach ‘escape velocity’ with your current ventureResources mentioned: - The Power of Saying "No"Resources: - Join our Free community of high-performing physicians: the Physician Wealth Accelerator- https://vikramraya.com/programs/ - Sign up to my email list- Apply to work with Vik and book a clarity call here - Group Coaching Now Open!
