Tamara Taggart is an award-winning Canadian broadcasting icon and community leader. She has volunteered thousands of hours in the community, sat on the boards for several non-profit organizations, and advocated for the well-being of children and people with disabilities. She once co-hosted Live! With Regis and Kelly. She’s well-known for her time as a popular news anchor at CTV. She is also the host of the TELUS Talks podcast. In 2015, she was awarded British Columbia’s highest honour, The Order of British Columbia. Earlier in 2020, Tamara was featured on Episode #64 of This is VANCOLOUR which garnered a feature in The Vancouver Sun.

Bowinn Ma is the twice-elected BC NDP British Columbia Member of Legislative Assembly for North Vancouver-Lonsdale. In November 2020, she was appointed the BC Minister of State for Infrastructure. Bowinn was first featured on This is VANCOLOUR in Episode #77.

Joanna Chiu is the world famous, Vancouver-based National Correspondent for the Toronto Star focused on Canada-China relations and current affairs. She was the Beijing-based correspondent for Agence France Presse (AFP), the world’s oldest news agency and the China and Mongolia correspondent for the top German news agency, Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA). In Hong Kong, she reported for the South China Morning Post, The Economist, and The Associated Press. Her work has also appeared in The Guardian, BBC World, The Atlantic, Newsweek, and Al Jazeera. She was featured in a This is VANCOLOUR, “Colourful Call” segment on May 7.

Teresa Campbell is a full-spectrum doula (including her work as a death doula and grief guide) for over twenty-five years with a focus on birth, death, loss, and trauma. An activist, celebrant, and director of yoga and doula teacher trainings locally and internationally, hosting workshops, ceremonies, retreats and mentorships through La Lupa Via. She first appeared on This is VANCOLOUR in Episode #69.

Amy Chan is the founder (and Chief Heart Hacker) of Renew Breakup Bootcamp, a retreat that takes a scientific and spiritual approach to dating and relationships. She is also the the Editor-in-Chief of Heart Hackers Club, an online magazine that focuses on the psychology behind love, lust, and desire. A modern-day Carrie Bradshaw, Amy has been featured on Good Morning America, Vogue, Glamour, Nightline, and the front page of The New York Times. She also used to write the “Ask Amy” column for 24 Hours newspaper in Vancouver from 2007 to 2014. Her book, “Breakup Bootcamp — The Science of Rewiring Your Heart” is available in bookstores everywhere on December 1, 2020.

Neetu Garcha is the current news anchor for Global BC Morning News. She is a multimedia journalist who has been with Global News since 2013 across several desks in the Okanagan to Vancouver Island to Metro Vancouver. She is also the 2008 Miss Penticton.

Brad West is the Mayor of Port Coquitlam. A fan favourite of “This is VANCOLOUR”, Mayor West has also appeared on the podcast in Episode #30 and Episode #60. ***Episode #100 Introduction by Alex Carrigan

Jill Krop is an iconic journalist, broadcaster, and news executive in British Columbia. She was the News Director at Global BC and Global News: BC 1, leading one of the most successful newsrooms in Canada that included the oversight of 980AM CKNW Radio and Global Okanagan. In August 2020, she announced her resignation to seek new opportunities outside of news and journalism where she enjoyed an illustrious thirty-four year career.

John Horgan is the 36th Premier of British Columbia. He was first elected as a BC NDP Member of the Legislative Assembly in 2005, representing the constituency of Langford-Juan de Fuca. He has been the leader of the BC NDP since 2014.
