As two alumni of First Dates Canada, we finally get to dish on dating, particularly dating during a pandemic. We share our personal experiences and dish on a few friends too!

Amy Chan is the founder (and Chief Heart Hacker) of Renew Breakup Bootcamp, a retreat that takes a scientific and spiritual approach to dating and relationships. She is also the the Editor-in-Chief of Heart Hackers Club, an online magazine that focuses on the psychology behind love, lust, and desire. A modern-day Carrie Bradshaw, Amy has been featured on Good Morning America, Vogue, Glamour, Nightline, and the front page of The New York Times. She also used to write the “Ask Amy” column for 24 Hours newspaper in Vancouver from 2007 to 2014. Her book, “Breakup Bootcamp — The Science of Rewiring Your Heart” is available in bookstores everywhere on December 1, 2020.

Neetu Garcha is the current news anchor for Global BC Morning News. She is a multimedia journalist who has been with Global News since 2013 across several desks in the Okanagan to Vancouver Island to Metro Vancouver. She is also the 2008 Miss Penticton.

Brad West is the Mayor of Port Coquitlam. A fan favourite of “This is VANCOLOUR”, Mayor West has also appeared on the podcast in Episode #30 and Episode #60. ***Episode #100 Introduction by Alex Carrigan

Jill Krop is an iconic journalist, broadcaster, and news executive in British Columbia. She was the News Director at Global BC and Global News: BC 1, leading one of the most successful newsrooms in Canada that included the oversight of 980AM CKNW Radio and Global Okanagan. In August 2020, she announced her resignation to seek new opportunities outside of news and journalism where she enjoyed an illustrious thirty-four year career.

John Horgan is the 36th Premier of British Columbia. He was first elected as a BC NDP Member of the Legislative Assembly in 2005, representing the constituency of Langford-Juan de Fuca. He has been the leader of the BC NDP since 2014.

Todd Stone is the BC Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly for Kamloops-South Thompson. First elected in 2013, Todd was appointed the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure. Upon reelection in 2017, he was appointed the Official Opposition Critic for Municipal Affairs, Housing and Translink. He was the founder and CEO of Kamloops-based software company, iCompass Technologies. He is the former Vice Chair of the Thompson Rivers University Board of Governors and has served on the boards of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and Kamloops Thompson United Way.

Selina Robinson is the BC Member of the Legislative Assembly for Coquitlam-Maillardville for the BC NDP, as elected in 2013. Since 2017, she has been the BC Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. She first appeared on This is VANCOLOUR on Episode #41 to discuss homelessness in British Columbia and Temporary Modular Housing.

Sonia Furstenau is the leader of the BC Green Party and the BC Member of the Legislative Assembly for Cowichan Valley. She sits on six parliamentary committees including the Select Standing Committee on Children and Youth. She has been involved in grassroots advocacy as the National Administrator for Results Canada - a non-profit organization that works to end extreme poverty - and as a Director on the Board for Oikocredit - an international microcredit organization. She was also a volunteer with Citizens Climate Lobby.
