From December 2015 to January 2020, he was the leader of the Green Party of British Columbia. He is a Member of the Order of British Columbia, a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and a winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his role as a lead author in the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate with a group that included former US Vice President, Al Gore. Kyla Lee is a criminal lawyer with expertise in impaired driving and immediate roadside prohibition for Acumen Law Corporation. She is renowned for her knowledge of the immediate roadside prohibition (IRP) scheme. In 2014, she was the first lawyer to explain the deficiencies of the IRP scheme to the judges at the Supreme Court.
