Zach Dechant is the Senior Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at TCU. He oversees the development of Baseball, as well as the quarterback development for Football. Zach is also the author of the book, Movement Over Maxes. In this episode we really got into the subject of sport specific training and where the line is for strength coaches when training athletes. The further we went in this episode the more evident it was just how much Zach knows about the mechanics specifically of throwing and how much that helps him figure out what exactly he can do off the field to improve mechanics, and strengthen the movement.
