Welcome ladies to the Real InvestHER Show! Today, Liz and Andresa, recently went on a bus tour with a rockstar property manager and learned five "golden nuggets" from the experience. They plan to share those nuggets with you ladies in this minisode. The first nugget is that investors should involve a property management company during the due diligence period when purchasing a property, rather than after the fact. Other nuggets include the importance of working with a property management company that specializes in the type of asset you're investing in and the value of having a property manager who is knowledgeable about the local market. In the age of digital nomads, people are finding the freedom to travel while working. The demand for Mid-Term rentals has skyrocketed in the last few years and that is why in this episode of The Real InvestHER Show, Liz and Andresa are joined by special guest, Zeona McIntyre. Zeona went from being $50,000 in debt to financially free in just two years by using Airbnb to invest in real estate. She became an Airbnb host in 2012 and has since managed short-term rentals across the globe, before transitioning to selling real estate to investors looking to house hack or live for free. Zeona is an avid real estate investor who owns a double-digit short- and medium-term rental portfolio. Why is maintaining a solopreneur mindset and not relying on others for information or advice a bad idea? In this minisode, Liz and Andresa share their thoughts on being mindful of the market you are in and doing your research. They discuss why it is essential to stay informed and to be watchful of oversupply and job opportunities in neighborhoods. They also tackle the importance of paying attention to supply and demand in different markets and how to look at the markets and submarkets around a particular area in order to better understand demand and potential opportunities. With the help of plans A, B, C, and D, she has been able to be successful in building passive income while she built her professional career. In addition to her real estate journey, she shares her advice, stories, and tips on how to build wealth while taking care of your agents. Ladies, this episode is filled with tips, advice, and encouragement for women who want to get into real estate investing. Today's guest is Irene Lambiris, MD. Irene is an internal medicine physician and full-time real estate investor. Her parents, tailors by trade, started buying properties when she was seven years old, growing up in the multifamily space.  In her 20’s, she read Kiyosaki and Lechter’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad, starting her passion for real investment. As soon as she finished medical training, she paid for her education by creating a real estate portfolio and reaching financial freedom. Her mindset is: “I don’t have to work, but I choose to because I love what I do”. One of those is real estate, and Leslie Alessandra took the opportunity right away as being the first woman to ever sold a home in the US using NFT technology. Now, this amazing entrepreneur and expert in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency has co-founded and is the CEO of DeFi Unlimited, a cryptocurrency business committed to creating products and software that ease the barrier of entry into the crypto space for businesses and facilitate B2B crypto transactions. She is a Florida native who actively invests in both real estate and cryptocurrency and believes in the benefits of blockchain technology for both industry efficiency and humanitarian causes.
