Atlas Shrugged: Dialogue w/Bethany Tabor & O.G Rose
I recently read the Ayn Rand’s incredible magnum opus ‘Atlas Shrugged’ which inspired to organise a roundtable discussion. I joined Bethany Tabor in her reading group on the significance of the book and we were also joined by Daniel of O.G. Rose who was deeply struck by the text as a literary philosophy.
First published in 1957, Atlas Shrugged is an unfolding story mixing mystery, romance and an exposition of the potential breakdown of American society. In our dialogue we explore how Atlas Shrugged offers a more important diagnosis of the slide into authoritarianism and decline than the more popular 1984.
A work of fiction, Atlas Shrugged presents us a chillingly detailed map of how things fall apart and the breakdown in values and philosophy directly spreads through infrastructure.
Bethany Tabor is a writer and public engagement specialist based in New Mexico. She is interested in cultural attitudes toward time, technology, innovation, and astrology.
O.G. Rose is the pen name of philosopher and writer duo Daniel and Michelle Garner. Daniel has been indispensable to my making sense of christianity and brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge and reflection. He draws upon his experience holding a church for artists called Eunoia in Virginia.

Wrestling with Christianity III: Unlocking Verticality & A De-centralised Network of Scenes
Continuing the series with Mahon McCann, Ken Lowry & O.G. Rose. We explore a christianity that 'goes beyond itself' and some of the dynamic tensions involved in integrating Christianity with many of us outsiders to the tradition. A unique consideration of how modern christianity 'bands off' the 'top' and 'bottom' of transcendental experience and deep suffering of collective trauma and holds us in a 'middle space'. How we might learn from Paul and early communities as a model of de-centralised scenes experimenting with different ecologies of practice in dialogue with one another.
Mahon McCann is a Phd in philosophy of digital ethics. He is a playwright in Dublin and hosts both a podcast and substack exploring responses to the meaning crisis.

Ken Lowry is an explorer and lover of the Good, the True and the Beautiful.
The goal of his channel Climbing Mt Sophia is to share adventures in exploring the Mountain of Wisdom. He has become a key collaborator in Wrestling with Christianity as well as holding ongoing dialogos on the essential virtues with D.C Schindler, Vervaeke and others.

Ep.39 Sophie Cowen: Climate on Trial
A powerful interview with Sophie Cowen, of the "Barclays Seven" a group of women who led a climate action against Barclays headquarters in London's financial district, breaking glass windows to draw attention to the bank’s funding of fossil fuels. In the interview we explore the powerful energies 'flowing through' extinction rebellion in 2018-19, Sophie's two-year experience following the Barclays action and the unfolding of their landmark trial at Southwark Crown Court. This interview was hosted with my regular collaborator, journalist Matthew Green.
Matthew is a climate journalist at DeSmog and author of the excellent Resonant World substack exploring collective trauma healing.

Michelle Garner pt.1 Following Truth
First of a two part dialogue with Michelle Garner of O.G Rose.
We explore truth as a moving spirit which we can be girded by. Michelle embodies a profound openness and willingness to enter the world's of others and she shares how being girded and rooted in truth affords this. We consider truth as redemptive and transformative to suffering. Then we look at how truth cultivated in philosophy doesn't always translate into social life and encounters with the opposite sex.
--
In pt.2 we explore the wisdom of motherhood.

The Doors of Dialogos: Daniel Zaruba
~The first in a new series 'The Doors of Dialogos' exploring the nature of Dialogos with pioneers and practitioners~
In this dialogue with Daniel Zaruba we explore some of the pathways into Dialogos as part of a larger exploration. This includes: remembering the dimension of being and the perspective beyond perspectives. I ask Daniel about the relation between Dialogos and prayer and how Dialogos might be implicated in Morphic resonance. We close with a number of considerations around sophistry and the potentially political nature of this 'wisdom scene'.

Escaping the Funnel of Climate Dialogue: Matthew Green, Wolfgang Knorr, Jacob Kishere
In the second Climate dialogue on SenseSpace i'm joined by Matthew Green and Wolfgang Knorr. Matthew Green is an author, climate journalist and writes at the 'Resonant world' substack on collective trauma healing. Wolfgang Knorr is a climate scientist, modeller & activist with decades of experience in climate science.
We begin by exploring Wolfgang's radical thesis that 'Net Zero is a trap' and how the climate conversation is funnelled by models, negotiations and underlying hidden (onto-epistemological) frames. We open doors in the funnel of the climate conversation and explore an approach more rooted in not-knowing. We consider the 'addiction' nature of climate crisis and the realisation of climate crisis as 'healing crisis.
