Sep 4, 2023

A powerful interview with Sophie Cowen, of the "Barclays Seven" a group of women who led a climate action against Barclays headquarters in London's financial district, breaking glass windows to draw attention to the bank’s funding of fossil fuels. In the interview we explore the powerful energies 'flowing through' extinction rebellion in 2018-19, Sophie's two-year experience following the Barclays action and the unfolding of their landmark trial at Southwark Crown Court. This interview was hosted with my regular collaborator, journalist Matthew Green. Matthew is a climate journalist at DeSmog and author of the excellent Resonant World substack exploring collective trauma healing. https://matthewgreenglobal.substack.com/ Sophie Cowen is a founder of Switch it Green.
