Driving Confidence Challenge Part Two

In this episode, Kev & Tracey continue with the driving confidence challenge!  This is part two of 3 episodes with different tasks to carry out each week to help you build your driving confidence.Week Two involves:1. Walking your chosen route and noticing what you notice2. If possible be a passenger on your chosen route. Notice all the details about lanes, traffic lights, roundabouts, and junctions.  What are other road users doing? Ask the driver about their decisions and why they are doing what they are doing.3. Driving Confidence Challenge Part One

In this episode Kev & Tracey have decided to start a driving confidence challenge! This will run over 3 episodes with different tasks to carry out each week to help you build your driving confidence.Week One involves:Planning a route that you would like to be able to drive confidently. This might be school, work, the gym, the shops, make it small enough to be achievable.Think about the difference it will make to be able to drive this route confidently. What will it mean for you? Write it down.Start to think about your route and what are the hotspots that make you feel nervous or anxious? Use Google maps to work out where all the junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts are. The Driving Confidence Podcast - Season One round up

Driving Confidence - Penny's story of how her driving phobia stopped her driving for 13 years and how she overcame her fears to start driving again

Calming Driving Nerves - 8 minute relaxation exercise - DO NOT LISTEN WHILE DRIVING!
