How to Increase Product Sales on Amazon with Prabhat Shah
In this week’s episode of the Exposure Ninja Digital Marketing Podcast, Tim is joined by Prabhat Shah, founder of Day to Day eBay and all around Amazon marketing BEAST! Prabhat has been working with Amazon sellers for over 10 years and has some serious, game-changing knowledge to share for any online sellers that want to expand and improve their visibility on Amazon. Now, we can probably all agree that Amazon is the King of eCommerce — in the 25 years since its creation, Amazon has steadily overtaken all other online marketplaces to become the go-to eCommerce platform for online shoppers. Every month, over 197 million people around the world visit Amazon.com — to put that number into context, that’s more than the ENTIRE population of Russia… Put simply, if you're selling products online, you cannot afford to ignore Amazon! What can you expect to learn from this podcast episode? In this episode, Prabhat takes us behind the scenes of how to rank organically on Amazon, how to get the most out of Amazon's Ad platform, and reveals some of the ridiculously sneaky and hyper-aggressive strategies that Amazon is using to dominate its space! Here are some of the awesome things we cover in this episode: Organic Visibility: What does Amazon look for in a product listing in order to rank it prominently? Amazon Reviews: How many do you need? What about review quality and sentiment? Product Descriptions: How long should they be? What about keywords? Should you embed images? Amazon Books: Ranking on bestseller lists is key to maintaining sales - how important is this for other physical products? Seller Competition: What if I'm selling a product that Amazon already sells? How can I compete? Amazon Ads: Why are they a good idea? What sort of products work best? CPC: What sort of cost per click should I expect through Amazon Ads? How big a percentage should I be willing to give up to Amazon? Does Amazon Ads impact organic listings? What are some of the top differences between a beginner/unprofitable Amazon Ads campaign and a finely-tuned profitable one? As always, HUGE thanks to Prabhat for joining us on the show. Tyler Jack Harris on Building Your Business by Building Your Personal Brand
In this week’s episode of the Exposure Ninja Digital Marketing Podcast, Tim is joined by Tyler Jack Harris, owner of two multi-million-dollar life insurance companies and the man behind the My Living Legacy vlog and the Sales Wolves podcast. Tyler’s story is pretty amazing and his business growth and success is directly linked to personal branding and a process he calls “scale impact”. According to Wikipedia, Personal Branding is “essentially the ongoing process of establishing a prescribed image or impression in the mind of others about an individual, group, or organisation”, but Tyler takes this one step further and looks at personal branding as a way to create a legacy — not only in terms of your business impact but in terms of having an impact on the world around you as well. What can you expect to learn from this podcast episode? If you’re thinking about pushing your own personal brand or someone in your business is thinking about doing it, there is SO much to take away from this episode! From the practical content strategies and planning side of things to overcoming the fear of putting yourself out there and keeping that doubting inner voice in check, Tyler has so much knowledge to share on this subject, plus he’s just a genuinely nice guy with a lot to offer! Here are some of the things we cover in this episode: How Tyler has used his personal brand to build his company, and why it’s not just about chasing fame! How to overcome limiting beliefs and muster the courage to put yourself out there (in spite of the haters!) How to decide how much resource to put behind your personal brand How to manage building your personal brand with other aspects of your business and personal life Delusion vs Persistence: How to know if you need to change angle vs just keep pushing on Spend: How to decide how much budget to put behind building your audience Strategy: How much do you need to strategise and plan vs freewheel it? Do you need to have a very specific audience profile in mind or do you believe more in just being yourself and seeing what comes out? Huge thanks to Tyler for joining us on the show. How to Improve the Accuracy of Your Facebook Ads Using Offline Conversion Tracking
In this week’s episode of the Exposure Ninja Digital Marketing Podcast, Tim is delighted to be joined, once again, by Lozz Newton — a veteran and all-round legend of the Exposure Ninja podcast. For those of you that don’t know, Lozz actually moved on from Exposure Ninja last year but he’s come back onto the show to share his insights from some testing he’s been doing at his new company around Facebook Ads tracking and how to improve the accuracy of your ads if you’re running lead generation campaigns. This is a particularly useful episode for anyone who is having trouble tracking their sales through their Facebook ads. What can you expect to learn from this podcast episode? If you’re a service-based business like we are here at Exposure Ninja, it’s likely that a lot of your sales come after a consultation period of some kind. This means that your clients aren’t necessarily converting directly through your website, but through a phone call, a person to person meeting, or an email exchange later on. Because of this, any Facebook ad campaigns you’re running will need to be focused on lead generation, which means that when it comes to the data, you can see which ads generate leads, but not which ones generate sales. This is a MASSIVE problem for Facebook ads optimisation — if you don’t know which ads result in sales, it’s pretty difficult to improve your ad campaign over time. While leads are great, we all know that not all leads are created equal, and not all leads turn into sales at the same rate; think low-quality leads from people with too much time on their hands vs high-quality leads from interested buyers (we know which we’d rather have!) The problem is, if my only option is to optimise for leads and nothing else, I’ll almost definitely end up with lots of the first type and very few, if any, of the second. So, notepads at the ready, it’s time to learn a thing or two from the Facebook Ads master himself, Lozz Newton, about how to overcome this problem using various offline conversion tracking techniques. PLUS, don’t miss the bonus Facebook News Roundup at the end of the episode, some interesting stuff on the way!
